If the Cubs traded for Miller they'd have two less runs scored today.

You referring to Maddon's dumb move?

Obviously not.

For a lunchbucket backup catcher, David Ross has had a hell of a career.

And he's probably going to be a pretty decent addition to ESPN Baseball Tonight next season, at least once or twice a week.

You'd hope not. Lester pitched the equivalent of four innings warming up.

I can see 6 outs from Chapman, but I think 9 might be asking too much.

Chapman is scheduled to come in just before Lester's fifth straight strikeout.

Lester almost wiped out a 4 run lead with 2 outs. He made this inning interesting. The only thing going for him in the 7th is the bottom of the lineup but he still has to face Crisp who's been dangerous.

The shitty thing is I don't see anybody out of the bullpen I'd want to see to get to the 9th. Lester's gotta battle...and give me more heart palpitations.

I think this ump forgot to check the vision box during last open enrollment.

Terrible both ways.

http://www.fangraphs.com/livewins.aspx?date=2016-11-02&team=Cubs&dh=0&season=2016

http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/zoneTrack.php?month=11&day=02&year=2016&game=gid_2016_11_02_chnmlb_clemlb_1%2F

I think Brooks represents reality better but on the fangraphs one if you click/touch each dot it tells you pitcher, batter, count, and outcome of the pitch on that particular pitch.

Maddon looks clueless
Hopefully the players can overcome the manager
