I have a hard time making fun of these dopes. You know damn well that there are some bros in Chicago that got their World Series Champion tattoos when the Cubs won the NLCS...

I'll never admit I was wrong.

It's not that he could have won in year one but it certainly could have been done without tanking. Don't give up on that. You are correct and that should never be accepted by a fanbase before a season starts.

Theo takes over in 2011. Cubs tank starting in 2012. That first year of tank results in Kris Bryant.

Bryant, has a career WAR of 13.6 at this point in his career. The rest of that first round class in aggregate has a WAR of 8.2.

I'm sure the Cubs would be in just as good a place in 2016 had they won 78 games in 2012 and drafted in the middle of the first round.

Yea.....this whole thing needs to be put to bed. There is no argument to be made. Theo's Cubs won a World Series. Case closed.

Watching some hilights from last night and goddamn if those Cubbie occurrences didn't try and gum up the works.Blown strike 3 call that would've made the 5th inning and everything in it academic, The swinging bunt that Ross throws away where an accurate throw gets him by a step, a wild pitch that scores 2 fucking runs, Rajai fucking Davis taking the hardest thrower in the league deep. I'm still still stunned they did t fold after Cleveland tied it.

MOTHERFUCKING BABE SCHWARBER

Exactly..... Had they wanted Miller and Chapman, Schwarber would have to have been in the deal. Instead they won and still have Schwarber. They probably will need to go get another closer for 2017 and I do not want Chapman back. Jensen if they can get him (he's a free agent) would be ideal. They made about 27-32 million extra in revenue from the playoffs, so they should be able to make that move.

I'm going to miss the continuous fountain of seed spitting that Tito Francona displayed.

It was awe-inspiring. That can't be good for your health.

That may have been the greatest game in MLB history. Ups, downs, twists, back story, the players involved, cities involved, lead-off HR, 2-run wild pitch, crazy pitching changes, double switches, Ross HR, Davis HR, the comeback, the rain delay, extra innings.... just incredible. Still can't believe it.

Any chance the White Sox let the Cubs borrow their awesome tagline from a few years ago?

It's the greatest game I've ever seen.

Given the stakes, 1991 Game 7 was the one I always considered the best in my lifetime but this tops that. I don't think it's close.

Believe it or not that's one of the healthier things Francona consumes from the published reports in the media.

There was multiple seasons where the Cubs were losing games on purpose, and still put together a better record than the Sox.

Tim Kurkjian (or however the hell it's spelled) said this morning that, given the circumstances, storylines, and the way the game played out, he believed it was the greatest game in baseball history.

I'm saying that I'm trying to objective, I'm not, but I don't know how you can argue for another game. The game itself was gut-wrenching for about 3 straight hours and the stakes were historic for both teams.

One of the most famous storylines in sports was ended by an incredible game. There's no question in my objective opinion.

Yeah, Game 7 in 1991, and last night's game are definitely my top 2. I can't think of another in my lifetime that would come close to either.

Watch these 20 to start then we will have a conference sponsored by Tito's. PS. I would lean toward Gibson homer game.
