When the Sox won my Dad bought one of those commemorative World Series bats with the signatures of all the players. He bought one for me as a gift as well. I think it was $100 or so.

Man, MLB is gonna make a lot of money on the Cubs winning this. Cuz I don't think the Cubs get it. It all goes to MLB and they divide it amongst all the teams. At least that's how the NFL does it.

I bought a couple WS Champs shirts a week ago from an old guy selling merch out of his van on 119th and Marshfield.. I'd see him almost daily out there trying to hustle this stuff and nobody ever stopped so I grabbed a couple shirts and the Cubs started playing awful that night.

I would like the locker room cap. While looking for some work boots, I stopped at the local Dick's *snicker* to see what was going on. They actually had a sign on the door saying that the locker room caps were sold out, and they did not know when or IF they were getting any more in, so that must be the hot commodity.

I have a relative who supports the Packers and the White Sox and this Cubs' victory was the first time in his life that he must acknowledge that the Cubs are the best baseball team in baseball. A "gloat" button is in order.
