I was emotionally invested in that WSOX experience circa 2005. I was quite happy WSOX faced the Astros that year. It was a great 4 games. That, I felt, was not the strongest competition the Sox could have faced. It didn't change my excitement that they won. The whole 11 game thing is a bit overblown.

Good team at right time, and right opponents, won in 11. Woohoo. Angels were the team I was most worried about. AJ took care of that emotionally fragile team :lol:
