I know, right? Hard to believe the 2017 Cubs are likely going to be even better after replacing guys like Montero and obtaining more bullpen arms.
You willing to bet the Cubs win more games and win the World Series next year?

Sure. With odds that you will of course be providing.

I don't care about his comments. He still showed up and did what they asked him to do and did it damn well. I would like to move on from him because he is not physically capable of doing anything other than what he did during the series. You couldn't ask for a better pinch hitter though. He has tremendous at bats. Even when he was terrible during the regular season he would work a count with the best of them.

Don't take that bet IMU. Too much variance.

Good advice. Imu should apologize and move on.

It is crazy how anything that is said around here can be twisted into "oh look the Cub fans cannot enjoy anything"

WTF is that shit?

I have enjoyed the hell out of the past week. Even rewatched the last couple innings several times just to enjoy it again and again.

Since we are basking in such a glorious time are we suppose to ignore any other situation that arises up for the Cubs?

Can the Subdivision let us know what is the time frame in which we are suppose to refrain from posting anything about the Cubs that is not just glowing with excitement?

Boilermaker Rick, Sox fans except Seacrest all avoided bigfan's offer because they said they could get bettet odds elsewhere. Why wouldn't IMU? And who you crappin'?

Maybe we can get wait to angry when our star pitcher cuts up all the jerseys with scissors.

Back to back in MLB is hard to do. A few tweaks and they can. Would not bet on it though.

Ask again in 2027=11 years after the World Series victory because 2005 never ended for White Sox fans. All fifteen of you. #2005.

yeah like you said at the end there; who cares about migmon? wacky willly contreras started off hitting like babe fucking ruth/schwarber and even tho he cooled off considerably after like 6-8 weeks, he still has enough chutzpah behind the plate to pick off runners at 1B and make some nice throws to 2B with SBs and stuff. i think he's a better catcher than migmon, even if he doesn't have the legendary "experience calling a game" like they always say about veteran/ish catchers who blow chunks offensively and can't throw anyone out even if they're a 350lb MMA fighter working as a bouncer at a gay bar.

TLDR = conteras > migmon so WGAF about migmon? let him posture his way out to tampa or somewhere where they'd be desperate to roll the dice on a guy who could maybe go carpe diem and have a "vintage" ~.280/16/63 type season and end up being the 2nd or 3rd best hitter on the rays

On Tuesday, Maddon shared his view, wishing Montero had come to him instead of publicly venting. Maddon also explained that Montero’s reduced role in the World Series was a direct reflection on the Indians having a superb running game. Montero struggled to throw out runners all season.

“I have no idea,” Maddon said on 670 The Score. “I wish he’d come and talked to me. Because I didn’t realize I’d hurt his feelings."
