I don't care about his comments. He still showed up and did what they asked him to do and did it damn well. I would like to move on from him because he is not physically capable of doing anything other than what he did during the series. You couldn't ask for a better pinch hitter though. He has tremendous at bats. Even when he was terrible during the regular season he would work a count with the best of them.

yeah like you said at the end there; who cares about migmon? wacky willly contreras started off hitting like babe fucking ruth/schwarber and even tho he cooled off considerably after like 6-8 weeks, he still has enough chutzpah behind the plate to pick off runners at 1B and make some nice throws to 2B with SBs and stuff. i think he's a better catcher than migmon, even if he doesn't have the legendary "experience calling a game" like they always say about veteran/ish catchers who blow chunks offensively and can't throw anyone out even if they're a 350lb MMA fighter working as a bouncer at a gay bar.

TLDR = conteras > migmon so WGAF about migmon? let him posture his way out to tampa or somewhere where they'd be desperate to roll the dice on a guy who could maybe go carpe diem and have a "vintage" ~.280/16/63 type season and end up being the 2nd or 3rd best hitter on the rays
