Beverly kids used to call it Mt. Greasewood back in high school. I was surprised there was a lower rung than Beverly.

The area of Mt. Greenwood East of Kedzie and before the cemetery is the lowest rung.

In the video, before any shots ring out, you can pretty clearly see the off-duty cop in the red t-shirt place his gun back in his waistband.

Something Mr. Beal did after that caused him to re-draw.

Again, what rational-thinking person would think that drawing a weapon on a cop, especially a gun, is going to result in something good occurring?

You can't beat Glendale Heights when the leaves start changing.

I dont know if its been mentioned here before, but the reason you have MOUNT Greenwoond/Prospect, or HIGHland Park, Arlington HEIGHTS etc. is the perception that being close to the "low-lying" river was invitation for disease, and that seeking refuge in the high ground would inoculate you from the cholera below. There's really no geographic basis for any of it.

I'm pretty sure that Glendale Heights is named after the hilly terrain of northeast Dupage County.

Generally, just like with universities, the more modifiers in a town name the worse that town is.

Chicago>Chicago Heights>South Chicago Heights

Does Mt. Greenwood have "Then Why Can't I Say The N-Word?" as its slogan on the welcome sign?

I 100% guarantee that the gun would be blurred/edited out if it was a Google Earth vehicle that took that picture (there's literally an example of this happening in South Africa, where the Google Earth Car drove down a street it was mapping while a carjacking was in progress =)

Back when Midlothian Country Club first opened, I'm betting Chicago Heights was a pretty choice area to live in.

yeah i figured as much; that's why i made the addendum post to say that i didn't see your post just now and go "OH HERE GO HELL COME" (- Tran from that one reality show) -- i just happened to be an asshole doing a sideswipe anyways and then it was like "hey look what appeared right above my post! wtf?!" 0 =) [yeah that's supposed to be a halo]

TLDR = often times i relish in having "board enemies" for the sake of, honestly, maintaining my own board-yenta game in the name of self-entertainment/amusement. i've met "Camps" years back at a board outing and he was a cool dude who got my respect right away for one-upping my BEARLY LEGAL hat via rocking his BEARLY LEGAL shirt. he was a guy who i prolly toasted once and life goes on, but that's the extent that i know him. so whenever i'm a dumbass on the board doing my "free shade dispensing service" possibly towards a "spmack" i just hope it's 100% known that "spmack" =/= "Camps" cuz at the end of the day i'm just a dumbass talking shit on the internet to a username/caricature, and that's the extent of [my bullshit] cuz honestly i don't know "Camps" beyond 10-15 cordial minutes bullshitting at a bar and i certainly don't wish that dude any ill will cuz he was just a str8up solid CSFMBer just like countless others who i'd go on to meet IRL over the years -- hope the feeling is mutual!

hasta
