He's not a liar? I guess you define lying differently than I do. Perhaps making statements which are intentionally factually incorrect fits the bill?

Who running for this office is not a liar? I mean... is it possible to run for public office and not be on some level full of shit?

He lies every time he speaks and he ran on division. The rest of that is just you being uninformed about the bio of the president.

"I do not believe Trump is a liar" means nobody should take anything that follows seriously. It's like saying I do not believe Trump is a man. Just completely fucking stupid and there's no nicer way to say it.

Gary Johnson. In fact, he's brutally honest. #WhatIsAleppo

Man I'll say that this election showed some true colors about people for sure. If you don't agree with these guys it's because you're stupid or racist or sexist or something horrible. Because obviously no one in their right mind could possibly disagree with you. That is dangerously close to entitlement mentality.

You're entitled to vote for whoever you want and have whatever opinion you want. I don't think you are racist either. I can read your explanation and give my opinion too. You shouldn't get butt hurt because someone disagrees with your reasoning.

You called it bullshit. That's pretty strong. I'm wondering what's bullshit about it.

Much of what you say about Hillary is true. That being said, reading your explanation it's clear to me that you are either uninformed or you've decided to ignore EVERYTHING Trump has said or done for the past 2 years and prior.

Personally, I understand the guy voting for him because he wrongly believes Trump will bring back those manufacturing jobs. I understand the support from the angry racists and bigots. I understand a guy voting for him in a state like Illinois or California because he wasn't going to win those states. I just don't understand how someone who aren't the voters I described above can look at both candidates and believe that Trump is best for our country.

All right man.

Tell ya what, one thing I dig about trump is he is a businessman. A largely successful one. I like that he's going to look at trade deals and treaties like a businessman and not like a person looking for political advantage or cover.

Anyway thanks for the chat.

You're giving him way too much credit as a business man. Further, for all his talk I don't think he has a clue with regard to trade agreements. It's easy to bash them when you know nobody in your audience understands them and will just cheer anything you say. Obama will close Gitmo before Trump renegotiates these deals.

Not sure anyone asked me yet.
Is this something that requires a confession or something?
I'll put it this way... my ballot had two Democrat votes.

For the record I did. Well I assumed and then asked why.

I voted for Trump.
That whole national security problem Hillary has made it impossible for me to vote for her. Knowing who her money comes from bothers me. Her sense of entitlement is distasteful. I found her carpet bagging disingenuous. She feels as fake as a 3 dollar bill to me too. Trump is what he is. He's not putting on a false face.he is what he is.
I don't think Trump can be bough . I'm positive Hillary can be.
Had Trump run against any one of dozens of others Hillary beat in the primaries he doesn't get my vote. She is the only opponent of his that forces my vote to him.
Now I'm going to be called a racist, a sexist, uneducated by Hillary supporters. That's quite unfortunate. I'm not racist. I'm not a misogynistic uneducated Rube.
In my opinion they're both just terrible people. Yet I held my nose and cast my lot with him. He's the definition of a political outsider. That's great for the bullshit good ol boy network that dominated the political scene. I hope he does piss off both sides of the aisle. I hope he shakes them all off their comfortable perches.
Like I said before, this government needs an enema.

I'd never call you or anyone else on here a racist simply because they voted for Donald Trump. I do believe that his support definitely was fueled by it however. If it were not then why wasn't he denounced for all of the racists and bigoted statements that he continously made? At no point did it ever dip. Trump supporters on here kept harping on Hillary is a racist as a means of providing justification but the fact was she was not running on racism or xenophobia. He was. I honestly don't know what is in her heart. She may be racist. But I do know that she didn't base her campaign on that.

I can't as an African American reconcile with that because it plays on the sort of anxieties that blacks have often felt in this country. Race hustlers and poverty pimps often exploit this and in this instance they will have some justification. I just hope that Trump doesn't govern this way. I really don't.

In a perverted sort of way I am happy that he won. I wanted Hillary make no mistake about it but I think that Trump's election has taken the scab off a portion of America that most people believed was long ago buried.

I am not a race baiter nor an apologist for African Americans. I think you have seen me take blacks to tasks on a number of issues on this board. That said the notion that racism in this country was eradicated simply because Obama was elected is something that always bothered me. This other notion that Trump's candidacy wasn't heavily fueled by racism and xenophobia was also troubling.

Why everyone keeps talking about the person that Hillary Clinton was while conveniently ignoring who Trump happens to be is mind-boggling. This jackass insulted every fucking body on his way to the Presidency and people cheered his ass on every step of the way.

They either completely ignored who he is or didn't care. They could make about her but in their quest to perpetually spin everything it became apparent that nothing he did was ever "bad enough".

This idiot is now repping this country. Yeah people were angry because they what, finally got a chance to taste how disenfranchisement feels? Yeah they had economic angst whoopty fucking doo. This sort of shit African Americans have felt throughout most of their lives and the same people that now laud working class whites are the same ones that have blasted blacks and other minorities for years. Often called them lazy, shiftless and when they weren't doing that they simply criticized them for having the "audacity" to complain at all.

Among this group you'd find those that would constantly blast minorities for their lack of education. Trump's hypocritical ass staunchly criticized blacks for not being educated and called their schools fucked up but had no problem referring to counterpart whites as the ones this country left behind. Why wasn't this same rationale extended to blacks of similar station? I think we know why don't we?

That said I'm going to watch accept and hope that he governs in a fashion different than he campaigned. He deserves the right as the winner to have his day. I will try to be objective but it's going to be rough. As Speeps stated a while back a number of Presidents have been racists. Some have checked it at the door in order to do what they believed is the right thing to do. Trump's history doesn't suggest that he will do that but we will see. If he doesn't this has the potential to tear this country apart.

Blacks in this country are angry, as are Muslims, Hispanics and other minorities too. Working class whites don't have a monopoly on being angry. This thing has the potential to be a damn disaster but we will see.

I agree with a lot of this. Trump pulled off the biggest con job ever because he studied and understood his marks.

I've been telling you people (what do you mean 'you people'?) for how long now that there's virtually no difference between US politics and pro wrestling.

As I said I am in agreement with a lot of what he says and wants to do. I am scared of his thin skin and lack of control, that is why I voted Johnson. I could not vote for him but there was No way in hell I was going to actively help HRC.

You gonna comment on what I posted in the Ashamed at the country thread Chus?

What comment? You have said a lot of dumb shit today.

You do know what he said about NATO right? He said that the USA should not be putting up all the money as per the charter, that none of the countries in NATO except the USA meets the required manpower and spending levels. He said if the other members don't want to pull their fair share then why should we? Same with Japan,we have a treaty with them, actually a mutual defense pact. They have never meet the spending levels, once again Trump questions why they should not pay to defend themselves, why should the USA pay all this money to defend everyone else when they wont do it for themselves. Once again ,we need to take care of ourselves first.

You are the same guy who bitches about Obama pissing all over our allies. What a hypocrite.

Why don't you just admit that you voted for Trump?

Admit it? Like it's a crime or something?

Settle down.

Does this make you feel better to act like I'm freaking out?

The guy spent the last 18 months telling one lie after another. How many times did he claim that he didn't say something that he clearly did?

He often contradicted himself in the same sentence. Guess some noticed and some didn't.

Every time I mention that I believe somebody voted for Trump, but won't admit it, you start barking at me.
