It seems some have a hard time grasping this simple point.

I understand not liking Hillary. I don't understand how anyone could conclude that Trump is more "likeable". Racist, misogynist, clueless, lying buffoon. Yet we'll overlook that because Hillary is "crooked". That's the simple point you don't grasp.

When did experience become a bad thing, and likability become a pre-requisite for an important job?

Likeablility has always been a thing. Which candidate would you have a beer with and such and such.

I did.

He is the lesser of two evils. Cannot vote for Hillary, and just cant do the 3rd party thing.

Neither do I. Again... these are the two worst candidates I've ever seen.

First start hearing about it when GW first ran for President. Eerily similar in the eyes of this interested observer.

Trump doesn't like shaking hands but I would have a beer with both. Hillary looks like a whiskey lady.

GW era somehow slip past you. In all fairness I remember Mondale and Dukakis. Romney wasnt exactly a ball of fire either.

Well I kinda meant at one time, like there was no reasonable alternative. I don't think GW was a bad person per second, but a miserable president. Romney was boring... but again, I don't think he was a bad person. Dukakis was just boring but it sure was fun watching his pilot that tank.

The Helmut and the mug of Willie Horton are two things I will always remember about that election.
