All of the high-level appointments I've heard discussed so far, though, lead me to believe that Trump will pursue a familiar but nevertheless awful far-right ideological agenda that maintains neoliberal economic policy and neoconservative foreign policy at its core.

That's one of the parts I really loved. Did people really think there was a group of undecided voters who said, "I've given him over a year and he still hasn't shown me his tax returns. I'm voting for Clinton!" It was one of the more stupid things to get upset about. He's already said many times over that he takes advantage of the laws, so let's just assume he did on his tax returns as well and move on.

Steve Bannon would be interesting, but what I am hearing is that John Buckle may be appointed instead which would really throw things for a loop.
