I was contemplating whether I wanted to finish watching the game or go clean the shower. I chose the game because I have to go upstairs to clean the shower. But it was a pretty close call.

All of the experts in the Trib had the Bears. They saw the turnaround after the great Vikings triumph. I laughed when Biggs told M&H that the Bucs were mediocre. On its own that is true. But his implication was that the Bears aren't. No need for objectivity.

That's not necessarily the implication. He could have meant the Bears were playing a similarly talented team. Obviously he didn't factor in that Cutler would try to score more points for the Bucs than Winston. By the way, good luck with the shitshow up north.

Bears could have been up double digits in the 1Q and buried this team. Instead, Jay Cutler sucks.

However, I don't want to give the coaching staff a pass. I think it was the second drive, Bears were moving the ball at will and were just outside field goal range, 3rd and 2...and this group of geniuses goes empty backfield for an incomplete pass and a punt. I don't think Jordan Howard had less than two yards on any carry this game.

the breaking point of that game was winston miraculously getting out of a surefire sack and probably safety, going on to toss up a huge bomb that led to a touchdown. it seemed to punch the bears in the gut, and they never recovered.

This is about what I expect from week to week now.

They are a mediocre team that has been completely wiped out by injury. They've lost almost their entire OL, their best QB, half their defense, their mediocre top 10 picked WR all for extended periods of time. Two of their best three defenders (Goldman and McPhee) havent played in half the games this year and the rookie who started looking really god just suffered a potential career-ender.

I've honestly never seen a team get hit this hard by injuries, and its ruined them. They'll be better next year, and now they are in a prime spot to get a top QB or Jabrill Peppers in the draft.

that was the worst end to a game i have ever seen. there was like 6 dropped passes in the last couple drives! two of them were game winners! and they came back from 20 points down!
