No way Roberts is winning. The only reason he was nominated is because they had to nominate three.

Maddon should win but I'm guessing Dusty will.

Francona is a lock.

These were voted on prior before the post season was over. So anything that happened in post season was not considered by voters.

Dave Roberts winning the manger of the year is a joke.

Very undeserving.

Yeah, highest payroll in baseball.

It's only because Kershaw was hurt which shouldn't matter because the rest of the division was so horrible.

Fact is he took a team who's won the division the last three years and won it again. Not impressive.

Just a really bad choice.

Spiegs and Rozner were arguing he did well because he had to go through like 15 starting pitchers due to injury.

The rest of the division was so horrible, that another team from said division also made the playoffs. If that division was so horrible as you claim, doesn't that taint the Cubs run, as they beat two NL West teams to win the pennant? The Dodgers also had MANY injuries to key guys other than Kershaw.

Roberts was a good choice. Maddon would have been too. Cry about it.

Agree with Gay, Maddon is the obvious choice. Sure the Dodgers had injuries, and had to deal with the asswipe Cuban in RF, but what the Cubs did was unreal. Led the division all season. Lost their 4 or 5 hitter in the 3rd game of the season. Was the consensus favorite to win the WS from the start of the Spring, and lived up to the hype and probably passed it. Won 97 game in 2015, and found a way to win even more this season.

I'd have voted Dusty Baker, honestly.

The Cubs were the best team for nearly wire to wire except for that small span where the Giants were. Yes, the division was bad but 103 wins is 103 wins.

Roberts barely won a division that was gift wrapped to them, even with their injuries they were still a good team. Then you look at the division. Dbacks and Padres suck, Rockies are below average, Giants were the worst team in baseball for half a season.

The Dodgers should have won the division by more than they did, even without Kerhsaw.

At least Dusty took a non playoff team last year and dominated a division with them, even after losing Strasburg.

I dislike Dusty but I could have lived with him winning it.

Looks like Bob Nightengale walked it back as a "prediction." I have my doubts...MLB might have yelled at him.

We'll see...

What a joke.

Good job winning the division for the fourth year in a row, narrowly beating a team WHO HAD THE WORST 2ND HALF IN THE HISTORY OF BASEBALL!!

I'm sure Mattingly, a guy who had the Marlins in reaching distance of a playoff spot with less than a month left in the season, couldn't do the same.

Pathetic.

So the Cubs faced a historically bad NL during the regular and post seasons. Time to start using this; 2016*
