I need to make sure to add Terry to my death pool. He croaks before December 31st 2017

Dan has begun to state the co-host with him is "in for Terry" again. I'd expect Terry back soon.

Why bother if you're Terry? Contract expires in Jan or Feb when he was planning to retire.

With this long absence, maybe he'll want to do another year. But maybe the SCORE says no cuz they want to finally move on from him and that 500k annual salary. Give it to somebody else for 1/5th of that. Or just let Bernstein go solo.

Bernstein could also do what Kaplan does. "Bernstein & company" Then that co host just gets $300 or $400 for the shift and he's not a full timer cuz they rotate a bunch of guys. That's a way for the SCORE to do it on the cheap.

Bernstein has been doing "Bernstein & company" for the last 3 or 4 months. So the SCORE can look at the ratings over that time. If it's the same as when he has Terry, why not get rid of Terry's money? Like Bernstein always says, "Business is about making money." A very profound statement. Nobody ever realized that before Bernstein said it. So Bernstein would be all for dumping Terry if it helps the SCORE's bottom line. His CBS stock would go up.

So maybe Terry comes back for one week. Call it "Terry tribute week". Bill extra for the advertisers. Drinky can work on guests that are Terry's friends. Which would be easy cuz it's pretty much just Da Ma Na.

So you book Da Ma Na every day of that week and Da Ma Na tells "Terry stories". The listeners are touched and cry. Then Terry goes away.

That would be a nice send off for Boers.

Beardown why do you care so much about the money aspect all the time and what one makes or can make at The Score? You miss out on the golden goose when you were employed there?

Better yet, "Terry Tribute week" should be Terry hosting with Bernstein on Monday and Wenesday. Terry hosting with Da Ma Na Tuesday and Thursday. Then on Friday it's Terry, Bernstein and Da Ma Na hosting together.

It's not that I care. Just bringing it up cuz it's a factor. "Buisness is about making money".

It's like how we all talk about player salaries in sports.

Ok, fair enough. Continue.

And on the last day of "Terry Tribute week", Spiegel & Goff join Tani and drinky to produce the show. That would make old man Boers cry. To see all of his boys with him on his last show.

Pretty good, huh? Great idea, right? It won't happen. Why? Cuz I thought of it. Nobody at the SCORE would do anything that I suggest. Which sucks, cuz it's perfect.

The last thing Terry wants is to be around lowly listeners during his tribute week. It's not about you, Doug. It's about Terry. I know you want to see Terry to say good bye. But he doesn't want to see you.

If they did do a remote for the last show, drinky can work on getting a giant pinata of Mike Murphy. After the show is over, Boers takes a bat and beats the shit out of pinata Mike Murphy. Candy falls out. The kids with that are with their parents pick up the candy. Terry walks off to his car, into the sunset with wild cheers from the crowd.
