True, but the major players in the old line media definitely have a left bias. As far as "new media" you can shop for whatever viewpoint you want, but only right wing views are being censored on the major social media platforms.

I think I would argue that it's the other way around.

But within our organized societal structure as it exists, Hillary supporters in large numbers are refusing to accept the election results. This was supposedly "dangerous" when it was assumed to be Trump followers that would do so. Can you really not see the bias?

Additionally, for most of my life it has been the right wing Establishment that was authoritarian and wanted to order everyone what to do and hand down a set of rules. Recently it's the left that has become overwhelmingly authoritarian. And if you disagree with their established positions, regardless of how politely and/or logically you do so, you're likely to get shouted down, called bad names, and declared a racist/sexist/homophobe/bigot.

I think abortion is murder and rape is the only exception I'm okay with. No one would call my political views far right though. Just because you don't believe in property rights doesn’t change what has become a clear bias to MANY.

No one said anything about Trump supporters not accepting the election results. It was ENTIRELY about the candidate. You know this. It's been pointed out by MANY but you continue pushing something that is false.

Biased? MANY just told you you were crazy if you think I lean far right.

And you're being disingenuous here. The whole "danger" was not that the candidate might pout about a result but what his followers might do. Now that Clinton's followers are actually doing it, the same people who pointed out the "danger" are cheering it on.

RFDC agrees with most of what you're saying and he's fairly conservative so of course HE doesn't believe that the excuse making and constant attacks on Hillary and the liberal media is a sign of a right leaning bias.

The danger was about a candidate not accepting the results and on multiple occasions suggesting 2nd amendment remedies may be an option for his supporters.

Say what you will about me but there is consistency in my thoughts. I recently sided with a cop who may or may not be a white supremacist.

I made no statements about media bias.

I simply said that there is no way JORR is to be considered FAR right.

That is stupid. Anyone that has read his thoughts on here with even an ounce of objectivity can see that is he is not far right. Sometimes he agrees with liberals. Sometimes he criticizes liberals. Sometimes he agrees with conservatives. Sometimes he criticizes liberals. And I think his feelings about this election have been shared MANY times. He was hopeful that Clinton would win because he does not like or support Trump, but he can also understand why so many hate Clinton and did not want her to be President.

That's fine. That's the way you see it. MANY others see it differently. I would suggest not getting stuck on the far right label. JORR has been a Trumpet. He may or may not be aware of it.

NPR is real news. I don't get the Trib. Sun Times had it buried in the middle in the USA today portion.

Yo JORR, how does it feel to be a Never-Trump Trumpet brogressive brocialist? Are you feeling microaggressed? Perhaps a bit sealioned? I would feel rather rosebushed myself (that is a term I made up and the definition exists only in my mind and will not be shared with others).

I used to listen to Limbaugh before he hit it big and I listen some now. It has always been alleged that calls are screened so that opposing views will not be heard. The times that I listen I never hear anyone challenge him

In another bizarre fucking twist, it is rumored that Mitt Romney is in contention for Secretary of State. That would make me feel better that there was an adult in the room when making foreign policy decisions.

It is an amazing twist. I am not sure if I am more surprised that Trump would consider him or that Romney would agree to be considered?

Mattis the retired Marine general is quite the guy as well. Would have loved to have heard their talk

I used to have to listen to Limbaugh all day every day when I was in college. I worked for my county higheay department, and one of the guys I was paired with had it on in the truck all day. I can vouch that Limbaugh never letd anyone on with an opposing view, and he lets very few callers on at all. I remember hearing that he is very poor at debating... he's only a good blowhard when he goes unchallenged. If you look up some of his TV clips from the 80s and 90s, this is absolutely true. He folds like a lawn chair.

Romney wanted to blow up Russia in 2012, so Democrats should like him now.

man, didn't you lot learn anything from the election? i hate to use a "you lot" here cuz i dont personally know you and your views/how-you-roll, but right away it's like "TRUMP APOLOGISTS! TRUMP DEFENDERS! PERPETUAL TRUMP EQUIVOCATORS! when you bring the guy up!! basically people who in any way shape or form "supported" Trump winning the presidency (even if it was just some kind of "for the lulz" thing because there were technically no really good legitimate choices for president) are automatically given a pedantic title with a negative connotation instantly because trump = ultimate evil and therefore every single one of Don Tiny's "Good Upstanding People" voted hillary, and if you didnt vote hillary basically you're [pejorative / ad-hominem]

whatever happened to all that crap the left was spewing back when they were smugly overconfident that hillary was easily going to win this and thus they got all pedantic like "after the election everyone needs to respect the democratic process and come together as one nation to heal our wounds and mend our fences to try and go forward" ?? i swear to god these are the same [pedantic] people who basically set out to make the name/brand "Trump" into some kind of "badge of dishonor" that IRONICALLY AS FUCKING HELL RESEMBLES PEOPLE IN GERMANY HAVING TO WALK AROUND WITH STARS OF DAVID STITCHED INTO THEIR GODDAMN CLOTHES?!?! (you know, especially with the jewish-butthurt over trump bringing up a lot of stuff akin to 9 year old genuis kids coming up to their dads like"are they gonna start rounding us up soon?")

i swear to god the irony would be lost on people who suggest that after the rousing democratic victory in 2020 that anyone who voted-for/supported trump needs to be taken to one of Hillary's "Fun Camps" where these hateful bigoted nazis can go away for awhile and get a proper re-edumacation on how to live, think, and most importantly vote [in lockstep with the REALLY. SMART. PEOPLE.] before they're allowed to go back out into society and do more potentially damaging shit like, say, electing trump v2.0 or something.
