Matches like this you have to frame the kayfabe like you would while watching old timey Kung Fu movies ... the hero, especially the aged master, will almost always put up a great fight if not outright win against whatever odds ... Undertaker, Goldberg, (I guess Shane sorta counts in the example),etc., unless it serves a much, much larger storyline purpose for the hero to fall.

To this end, now they can book Lesnar's opponents as credible threats rather than someone playing a video game on Super Easy mode.

That's all I can figure. I joked out loud about just that finish as they stood in the ring, but I didn't mean it seriously in any way. M'eh, I got home much earlier than expected.

Kendrick vs the Kallisto wasn't bad. Kind of a crap ending, but I think this'll lead to Corbin going to Raw in exchange for Sami.

Smackdown doesn't need the CW division. Raw needs it, because they have the extra hour to fill. They just need to utilize it better, and get rid of the crap filler they still use.

Benoit movie. Anyone going to see it when available? I am torn if I want to. On one hand he was one of my favs and on a pure wrestling and entertainment level he was great. On the personal level it is gonna be hard. Plus,the book they are using as source material has zero good points about him. Ring of Fire,one of the most depressing books I ever read. I think it is one of the reasons i no long watch wrestling. The only real good point is the E is not involved at all. They are upset that it is showing all the dark side of the "sport" drugs sex and even that CTE may have been part of the reason Chris did what he did. I would rejoice if it helped to get the workers some better working conditions.
