This is a real thread by the way. It isn't about dumb backyard chickens.

Here is how it works. Anyone who actually is a real person can enter. I will randomly assign one person for you to buy a gift for and another person who will buy you a gift. The limit for gifts is $50 but no more than $10 should be expected.

Now, many I'm sure are not interested in giving out addresses to random/semi-random/Panther type posters so this is how it works.

Funny gifts are encouraged but not required.

The Secret Santa will post in this thread the gift/gifts that they have picked for that person. It is then up to them to discuss how it will be delivered. My recommendation unless you are friendly/trusting of the other person is to just send an amazon/nflshop/mlb/other for the amount of the gift. You also can do paypal or other means of direct transfer where you can let the person buy it themselves(Homer: Aw, twenty dollars? I wanted a peanut!

If you want to give the random internet stranger your address then obviously a direct sending of the gift is more than acceptable. The list of who your Secret Santa is will be posted in this thread for all to know.

You must commit to being a part of this by December 3rd as I will be sending out who your Secret Santa is during that next week.

In case someone has never done it before, it is really easy to send egiftcards for all sorts of different sites and the person pretty much only knows your email address which you can use a fake one for if you are really paranoid. I'll be more than happy to provide instructions at the time if someone needs more information.

Basically, no one needs to know your real name or address for this thing.
