So weird seeing the Oilers in a modern arena.

Klefbom from McDavid twice so far tonight. At least we're getting burned by the people we're supposed to get burned by, I guess.

Win small, lose big is not a good way to go through the season.

7 for, 13 against on the trip so far. Better luck with the California teams, I guess.

You gotta be happy for Edmonton, the club and the city, turning it around. Oilers fans are among the league's best and are well past deserving a winner again. Plus, it's good to see some actual urban development in Edmonton, which is less a city than just sort of a vaguely defined zone of settlement.

Hawks banked points playing way over their heads when looking at their possesion/shooting stats through 1st quarter.

Ass whippings were on the horizon. At least the Hawks didn't shit away points when pucks were bouncing their way.

Now I'm beginning to see why Hossa has had such a good season: he doesn't play with Toews anymore. I'm not entirely joking.
