Jay is a clear cut number one even with making an nfc championship. He was brought in to be the man, and never lived up to it. He trade day was probably a top 5 day in my bears fandom. I can't say he has an on the field moment that matches it.

I group wood, prior, rose, and jay Williams in a different tier as they show immense skill but were derailed by injuries largely out of their control. I can't give jay an injury pass.

I'd add Nomar on a Cubs list. We got the rotting steroid shell and we were sold a potential savior.

maybe being an afc pro bowl qb throwing for 4500 yards in his third year? He never touch his last season in Denver as a bear. Williams I was including in promising player taken down my injury.
