yes, please.

Great news. Headhunter, Hop Juju, IBUsive, and Hop Stalker are all amazing, and it will be great if this is also makes stuff aside from Headhunter available year-round.

My wife has to be in Indianapolis today and tomorrow. She stopped at 3 Floyd's on her way down there, and grabbed two cases of ZD. 8)

I've found a way to get a sixer of Zombie Dust every week, if I so choose.

And the Fathead's news is awesome. For those who visit FFF, you can usually find Fathead's at DeLocke's Liquor, just down the street on Calumet Ave.

I can grab a six pack most weeks from one of my local spots. Two cases of fresh ZD is all kinds of win.

Drinking a Mr Marmalade from Around the Bend. It's not bad. Good light orange taste with a touch of honey.

Got two Foam Brewing growlers in the mail today. Their stuff is at or better than Trillium. East coasters, get up to Burlington!

i think my favorite new couch beer is Sam Adams Rebel Grapefruit IPA. Doesn't sound appealing but it is very palatable. I dig it. It'll be my Thanksgiving beer of choice.

I admittedly haven't tried the full range of hoppy Foam beers but I thought Pavement was kind of underwhelming. The finish was just sort of non-existent for me and the taste didn't live up to the smell. I also had a sour from them that literally smelled like perfume.

I dunno, maybe I've tried their beers primed to hate on them because a friend in Burlington said he thought one of the reasons they were getting hype is because other Burlington residents are desperate to have a brewery seen as on par with those in other parts of the state.

I visited Foam back in August. Knew nothing of the hype and thought Pavement was the second best beer I had on my VT/NH/ME trip (including a few Trillium offerings). Different strokes, I guess.

Yeah I know enough people who also speak highly of them that I'll definitely try them again. I just wasn't as immediately wowed as I would've liked with the 3-4 offerings I've had. Then again, I've also frequently been underwhelmed by Fiddlehead's hoppy offerings and prefer Hodad to everything else they put out.

The hype around Foam is insane right now. I'm looking forward to trying some of their beer soon, but thre's definitely a trendiness factor at work here.

I had Halo Bender last night. 8% DIPA. Tasted like a pale ale. Could not detect the booze at all. Try that one, Midge!

Took a gamble and bought a case of Born Yesterday when I found it last week. Glad I did. This stuff is delicious!

The best pale ale I've had recently is "Positively 11th Street" by Brick & Feather Brewing in Turners Falls, MA. This tiny brewery is only a year old and is really starting to produce some fine beers that are approaching the level of Vermont's best.

I had the chance to sample some additional beers by Brick & Feather over the weekend.

Their porter, "Sauron's Delight," is fantastic--rich and smooth without having any boozy notes. It impressed me much more than the Hill Farmstead porter I tried a few weeks ago.

On the downside, I was disappointed by the "In Absentia" IPA, which many have compared to Tree House's well-known and highly regarded Julius IPA. This beer tasted strangely "off" to me and may signal a problem in the consistency of B&F's brewing process.

Overall, I am quite impressed by Brick & Feather--they've come a long way in a year and continue to work diligently on their recipes.

It's good, but I'm not a huge fan. There's so many New England breweries that do the citrusy IPAs better.

They all pretty much exclusive to NE region? Any available in MW?

Ballast Point is widely available around here.

Boyd ain't a good reader. No, KW, none of the NE breweries distro here. Ram just tapped Hop Lush yesterday, which is up there with the NE IPAs.
