Chelsea Clinton was another matter. Some of the stuff that was said about her was beyond the pale. Limbaugh was just brutal. Shameful stuff.

I don't know that wives or adult kids are off limits as long as they are campaigning or affecting public policy (which the First Lady always does). There was a lot of inappropriate shit said about Michelle Obama, but it wasn't inappropriate simply because she is Obama's wife... It was inappropriate because it was racist or ignorant. Disagreeing with her initiatives, for example, would have been fine.

Little kids should be completely off limits, though.

That's why I said Trump's adult children are fair game. They have been a big part of the campaign, and apparently will be eyes and ears in the room.

I have heard those three kids talk more in the last three months, than I have heard Chelsea her entire adult life.

The Trumplings essentially have Hillary's old role in the White House as unofficial but key advisors. They're in bounds. Melania is just sort of there. Actually, she's not even going to be there at all because she's staying in New York.

You can't say that people who affect policy are completely off limits, though. If they're off limits, then they can't be involved in campaigning or advising.
