Todd Ricketts as Deputy Commerce Secretary? Isn't he the fucking moron who didn't know how to mop a floor and couldn't sell a hot dog or park a car? Making America great again.

Good point, JORR!
The job would be much more well-suited for a janitor, a ballpark vendor or a valet car parker!!!

This might be the thing that makes JORR turn on Trump.

Um I am close personal friends wit the vendor ,Ie Rocco, who he was working with and he was not as bad as they showed. He just didn't have the hustle that was needed to succeed. He just kept on throwing away the product, it was not an inability to do it just a lack of effort and if you have never done that job let me tell you,it is fucking hard. Most of the older guys have joint problems. My friend Scott has been told he needs both knees replaced and he is only 50 years old. My brother broke an ankle at The cell working the upper levels when he slipped on a discarded wrapper. It is a tough job, pay can be good but you got to work your ass off.

Do we really want a Commerce Secretary who just throws shit away?

Also, Rocco is not exactly my prototype of the hustling beer vendor. Guys like Shaw, Bellizzi, and Rutzky probably spill more beer than Rocco sells.

When I think of jobs that take years off your life, I think of vendors who work three hours a day, 81 times a year. Get Mike Rowe on it!

Most of them guys work both parks plus Bears plus the UC. And some work the lakefront stands so it is not that cushy a job. Strap on 2 cases of Tall boys. Walk up and down all those stairs bend down every other step.

Well, most Chicago guys work 160 games, and it is a physically demanding job, especially for a guy in his 50s.

One of greatest performances I've ever seen was when Bob Shaw was stacked 3 cases high during the '05 playoffs.

It doesn't happen that often, but if one is day and the other night, the real hustlers do both.

As Commerce Secretary, my view is that America is great at making things. The hard-working men and women of America are as industrious as any the world has ever seen. What we have to improve is the amount of it that we are selling to people and businesses. In just four years, I promise to ensure that the world's largest accumulation of stock and inventory has at least a 75% discard rate.

Instead we're going with the number two man at a bike shop.

Yup plus when you add in the Bears and UC.

RFDC you work both games. You have to work a min number of games at each park to keep your seniority, loose your seniority and you go from beer($300 a day) to pop($75). Strapping it on is what vendors call it when you pick up a load to sell because you use a strap to pick up and carry the product.

If there are games at the same/near same time. Does happen mostly with when you have overlap with other Sports. Like for example when the Cubs went to the WS this year the UC got bitchy and was writing people up for working Wrigley instead of the UC. I know one lady who got demoted from stand Manager to cashier because she worked Wrigley over the Hawks. They usually go by seniority.
What really Sucks is Sox. You go in pay your Union fee then they send you home because there are no fucking fans. You still have to show to meet your attendance quota but you lose money as you don't work.

Not often. The Cubs rarely play night games on weekends.

I rarely see any guys go three high. In fact, many pussies just take one at a time.
