Multiculturalism and moral relativism have given us a society where people are actually shedding tears for this monster. I have to wonder, if Justin Trudeau had been prime minister at the time, might he have mourned the death of Hitler? And Jimmy Carter adds to his already shameful legacy.

I kinda like that Mr. Communism in the Western Hemisphere croaks on the holiest day of capitalism, Black Friday.

Exactly. It's a real shame how Castro has been and continues to be heralded as some cudly hero of the people by our own politicians and media elite. Sure is great that now deceased Congressman Cuomo spoke to Fidel regularly, was his admirer and thought that Communism was about freedom and lifting people up...

Sad.

Unfettered capitalism created Castro and Che. Or rather the moral and economic relativism that you referenced

Also, I realize moral relativism is the correct nomenclature, but it's too broad to describe things like this. Moral relativism is not bad unless in itself. It's just bad in certain circumstances.

Yes, unfettered capitalism(where? Not here) made Che a racist and homophobic murderer.

Single focused American "businessmen " propped up a murderous dictatorship based on the use of racism nurtured by the US Army. The "Spanish" Cubans didn't like that suddenly they were the ones getting the short end of the stick.

As for the homophobia you reference, it's generally common practice in that (& my own community) regardless of the politics. Just like in large parts of this country, so let's not throw stones. So let's not pretend that we don't have our share of murderers

Well, let's also not pretend I haven't been fairly critical of the US as well.

My only point is Fidel and Che were evil fucking guys, and it's silly to blame capitalism for that.

It and the screwed up foreign policy of this country definitely had a lot to do with it, just like in Iran. As Malcolm X noted, it was yet another instance of this country's amoral roosters coming home to roost.

People think Che Guevara is a hero. People are stupid.

I'd take it further by theorizing that over 50% of people - any and all kinds of people - wouldn't recognize him or know his name unless they saw some asswipe wearing one of those clichéd shirts.

Justin Trudeau is a horse's ass. If that dipshit Ken doll didn't have the dad he had, he'd be out in Vancouver shooting Hallmark Channel movies.

Do you ever think about the "Hillary Clinton + Justin Trudeau = SQUAD GOALS" memes that nerdy liberals had to throw away? If only unused memes could be sent to Uganda.

I'm not sure why you are sore? Some of us discuss many issues that are complex. Just because RR is a Reagan hater in most posts doesn't make it weird. He is consistent and I admire him for that.

You're dismissing his thoughts as those of an ideologue that cries racism with that statement. It's bullshit.

I'm. It even saying he is wrong. I am saying most political RR posts say Reagan was the devil and racist. It's ok it's his thing and from where he developed his politics. Again I'm not saying he is wrong but is a political thread didn't have him and 312 saying Reagan was the antichrist I would check that the world hadn't ended.
