I'm not sure why you are sore? Some of us discuss many issues that are complex. Just because RR is a Reagan hater in most posts doesn't make it weird. He is consistent and I admire him for that.

You're dismissing his thoughts as those of an ideologue that cries racism with that statement. It's bullshit.

I'm. It even saying he is wrong. I am saying most political RR posts say Reagan was the devil and racist. It's ok it's his thing and from where he developed his politics. Again I'm not saying he is wrong but is a political thread didn't have him and 312 saying Reagan was the antichrist I would check that the world hadn't ended.

Reagan doesn't factor in here, even for me. But United Fruit, the OSS boys and other opportunists  losing one doesn't by it self make Fidel a valid right wing (or asshole Cuban expat group) punching bag in my book.

Jesus, the guy and his cronies were murderers, torturers and pretty evil hombres. But of course they're cool because of something, something.

Your thoughts on Castro now make your statement about wanting more innocent women and children to be burned alive during the Waco standoff make a bit more sense.

Some twisted stuff here. Dark stuff.

I'm going to call the Pope and pray for you.

I don't give a flying fuck what your American political leans are. If you think Fidel and Che are your solutions you need some help. You cannot apply their shit to our national issues.

Great so blah blah blah and in the end Reader would rather Castro than Reagan. There is no doubt. Every single position makes it clear. As far as his social remedies, well, they make perfect sense. I am glad they are clear and now we can move forward.

Yes and no. I just don't have faith in the same era government or commonly accepted propaganda that propped up Pinochet, the Shah and then slandered Kenyatta , Nkrumah and those who didn't toe the corporate line

It's not propaganda though. We KNOW Fidel did horrible, evil things. Regardless of one's politics, it shouldn't be hard to acknowledge he was a terrible human being. I like capitalism, but it's not hard for me to acknowledge a guy like Henry Frick was an evil son of a bitch. It's sad that many on the left can't say the same about Fidel.

Brother I don't. I have no doubt you and I could sit down with a portion of our favorite booze and solve all of the world's problems. What aggrevates me with you and a couple is the same as Rush and Hannity. You never change your schtick.

RR, you me and many others on this board would be just fine.

He did many horrendous things, agreed. But MANY want to wrongly view him in the absolute, which is asinine in my book. And I think little of the old right wing refugees in Miami

How much longer do you guys think it takes before JORR pivots this discussion to Muslims? I'll start the over/under at midnight.

Love you, JORR!

Reader I have no idea what capital you get defending Castro. There is none. Zero. Anything you think was good expanded over 50 years is a pile of shit. You embarrass yourself defending Castro in any way.

How is it asinine to view Castro in the absolute? He was an absolute piece of shit. Just utter human garbage. Theres no gray area when it comes to murder and torture. It's pretty disappointing and a bit scary that you seem to think otherwise RR.

Obama ok'd the continuation of the heinous Patriot Act, use of drones and is sitting on his hands with respect to the Dakota Access pipeline, does that make him the same absolute pos?

Yes, I think Obama is a piece of shit human being. I've said as much multiple times here. Nas has even agreed but said it's impossible not be as President of the US.

Funny. Because Nas is right and we have to acknowledge the moral relativism angle for all, not just the ones MANY want to limit it to

He's not right. Nobody is forced into becoming President. Nobody forced Fidel Castro to burn books, murder and torture political opponents, and send gay people to forced labor camps. Everybody makes choices and it's absolutely fair to judge people by the choices they make, regardless of their position in life. I realize we are going to have to agree to disagree here like many times in the past. I'm just a bit stunned you're defending a guy like Fidel Castro to this level.

I hate black and white arguments. HATE.

But there is absolutely no positive argument for Fidel Castro, and any attempts to do so are complete nonsense.

Hoover led this country a worse path for 40 years under the guise of patriotism while demonizing some and being hyperbolic about alleged "enemies of the state ", if not flat out lying/exaggerating, so pardon me if I don't toe the Heritage foundation line here

There's not. You and I usually agree, but this ain't one of those times. He was a terrible human being who did awful things that have no justification.

Don't care if I worded things less than perfect. Castro was a POS and was treated better than deserved. It makes me sick modern people that claim to be political folks like him. Die
