Yeah. You could hear him choking up on the air. I assume there were tears. Goff is an emotional wreck. Doesn't take much for him to cry. Even though he wants you to think he's a tough guy. Even though he knows gang members. Goff cries a lot. Not knocking him. This is a new day and age. The SCORE people have evolved. They don't do gay jokes. They no longer say they love boobs. And they cry a lot. For anything and everything. Be it for death, sickness or even a Hallmark advertisement. Goff is gonna ball like a baby. I think it's awesome.

Granted, Goff wouldn't cry if Spiegel came back from a long illness. Goff hates him. Only for his original loves - Boers and Bernstein.

I think just allowing him to talk and being the B&B producer helped his career. Their success helped him. It's not like Boers actively did anything for him. Still, letting him talk was a big deal. Most talk show hosts don't let their producer talk as much as B&B allowed Goff.

It's not like Goff asked if he can talk as much as he did. He just decided that he would be the 3rd talk show host and they never told him to shut up.
