Have to make it clear that it was me that had it first in case people didn't read the show thread. But I'm not against the thread. Good for you.

I know it won't be a popular opinion but I think Boers has rode coattails throughout his 25 year employment at the station.

We are lucky the station did not evolve as Terry foresaw it when he joined.

The 2nd part of your statement is probably true.

However the first part can be argued the other way around as well. Mac and Bernsie neither one would have been as good as they were without Terry being their partner.

Well, sure, I'm not implying he did nothing. However, when HFC was put together by bosses, Terry was the headline name but eventually became the secondary talent. The same is true to an even greater extent with B and B. There is a skill to being a second banana but neither show would have flourished with Terry doing the heavy lifting.

Boers is the sole reason that B&B lasted so long and was as successful as it was. Bernstein needed a partner like Boers that kept the show on track and also fun. The more power Bernstein got the worse the show got.

Bernstein is going to be exposed with Terry gone. His shows aren't fun to listen to especially with someone like Rozner.
