I would be very concerned with this turn of events if I were drinky if he does not get either the spot or a promotion. He loses the one guy who would stand up for him to management in keeping his high paid producer job. Dan won't go to bat for him. Tannehill has displayed far better production talent. Management will be reevaluating things about the show now and his salary has to stick out as a spot for adjustment.
Good point.
I think there has been the attitude with management of..."Yes, drinky is an annoying idiot. Yes, we know there is no chance of this thing being "talent". Yes, he's very cocky and has the attitude of a high school punk. But we've known this guy for a long time. He's harmless. We'll keep him."
He can answer the damn phones. Then again, it might be above Mitch at some point. If they are ordered to cut salary he would be the first to go. Cuz they could get somebody out of college that could do it for half the price.
The conversations between drinky and Bernstein are embarrasing for drinky. He doesn't know it though. That's the beauty of being an idiot.
They're about the same age. Christ, drinky was even married and a father before Bernstein. Drinky has had 2 kids since the first one with the 2nd wife. Yet he behaves and acts like a punk high school kid in conversations with Bernstein. At some point that has to stop.
Is drinky gonna be 60 years old with the same old....
Drinky: Ahhhhh, hey Bernstein?
Bernstein: Yes, Matty?
Drinky: Ahhhh, fuck you. And, ahhhh...83!!!!!
Bernstein: Oy. Hey Matty, is that a new walker? How's the hip replacement recovery going.
Drinky: Ahhhhh, it's going fine. Ahhhh, yes. It's a new walker. Ahhhhh, fuck you!!!!!
Bernstein: We'll be back with more on the SCORE
It was Terry who had loyalty to him. Dan will cut him loose if there is a necessity.
