I'm not surprised. I didn't think they would put Penn State in. It just reconfirms what I've always thought of the conference championship game: Winning that game will not get you in but losing it will make sure you are out. None of the top four lost a conference championship game, so the top four stays.

Reverse the roles. Say Ohio State wins the H2H and the B1G, but PSU finishes one up in the loss column and has a "quality" win over Oklahoma, who do you think gets the nod? Is there any doubt it would be Ohio State? I mean a lot of the same argument one could make for PSU were made for Ohio State before. Conference championship, overcoming early losses...now those things dont matter that its PSU using them against OSU and not OSU using them against TCU.

Dont even get me started on Washington. Winning the best conference in CFB doesn't get PSU in, but winning the dogshit Pac-12 is enough to put Washington in the "last spot" (its obvious OSU was moved to #3 to keep the debate centered on PSU/Washington).

If they dont want PSU playing for the national championship they should have killed their program when they had the chance, or at least not softened the sanctions.

Again, I didn't think they would get in. Now I hope every big ten team in a bowl game wins, except Ohio State. I hope Clemson beats them by 40.
