I think it should take into account expectations, though, or we will all be listing weird shit like Megashark vs. Dinocrock with Jaleel White or some shit.

I'll go with Bowfinger. It had big names, and I saw it at the theater and it was an absolute piece of shit. I don't even remember the year, nor will I look it up because it scarred me.

Whaddya got?

My wife and I were traveling and decided to take a break at a movie.

We saw Bowfinger at 11am on opening Friday. We were the only 2 people in the theater. They had to radio up to start the movie because they weren't going to play it.

That said...Poltergeist 3.

I'm pretty sure the guy my partner shot five times was watching Bowfinger with his family when my partner rang the doorbell.

I'm going to vote for An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn. The idea behind it is good, but the execution was just awful. Just an awful time waster of a movie. Ironically, I believe it actually became an Alan Smithee film.

that was the end of joe eszterhas's career pretty much. that's what you call a flop. trying to make a film parodying bad movie making, and you make a bad movie out of it. the anti-"waiting for guffman".

jbills, i'll definitely put a review of "31" on here when i get to see it.

The worst movie I've seen that people actually think is good is "Gangs of New York". I also just didn't get "Mad Max: Fury Road".

I know there are movies that are worse than those two but those are the ones that stick in my mind.

The Skulls. Just a pile of crap that I was dragged to in high school. Only movie Ive ever fell asleep in the theatre.

As far as a popular movie that I hated was Varsity Blues. Just a load of suck and everyone loved it when it came out.

Not the worst movie I've ever seen, but holy shit Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is now on cable, and I sat through that turd sandwich for 2 1/2 hours yesterday. Motherfuck, I can't stand Jesse Eisenberg. I honestly cannot understand how this dude is an A-lister. He has sucked in literally everything I've seen him in. Cavill is terrible, I didn't buy BenFleck as Batman. I like Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, and the new chick that plays Wonder Woman is hot, but other than that, I hated this movie.

Based on expectations and budget I have no problem with you calling BvS the worst movie you've ever seen.

if that's the worst movie you've ever seen you sure have done a great job insulating yourself from movies that are actually bad.

Open Water. It was just two couples arguing with each other for what seemed like hours. Then a shark ate them. The end.

Let's be fair here. The documentary and stuff that aired on Sci Fi before Blair Witch got released was far better than the movie.
