Trump will refuse the advice. He was elected on being himself and saying whatever diarrhea popped into his head.

His supporters LOVE that he has no filter.

With the whole "biased" thing, some of his supporters acknowledge that if there is a "bias", a lot of it is his own doing because of how non-traditional (some would say insane) he is. If we all believe that, I do think we have to be careful about saying the media is biased in lockstep with Trump. Because he is so abnormal, it's probably necessary that the media treat him with a great amount of scrutiny. We don't know how this behavior or his views which deviate from the norm, will affect the world. If it takes some "bias" to keep an incredibly close eye on that behavior, I'm fine with it. Unfortunately, our media sucks in general, so it still might not have the desired impact.

Our media has its issues and I am critical of the liberal bias, but it is a hell of a lot better than what they have in China or Russia, or probably just about anywhere else. Problem is citizens, particularly conservatives, are too lazy and irresponsible to support a profitable unbiased media.

If United Steelworkers 1999 was any good, they would have kept those jobs in Indiana. Spend more time working-less time talking. Reduce dues

It sure didn't take long for him to display his affinity for the wealthier members of society. Also doesn't sound like the guy that is going to go after NAFTA either

Our soon to be President has no issue publicly shitting all over a man who will be seeing 1,000+ of his colleagues lose their jobs.

Good grief.

It's not about the statement... it's about who it's aimed toward. He literally has an infinite amount of power relative to this guy, and he's attacking him personally. I want to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, but holy shit... this is so classless and such a waste of time. He's a beta through and through, and someone needs to take away his motherfucking twitter.

Right. He's an asshole and has no respect for the office. This isn't news.

Right. He's an asshole and has no respect for the office. This isn't news.

This is more dangerous. First Trump threatened businesses whose leaders criticized him. Not he's singling out individuals on Twitter who criticize him.

He's trying to muzzle criticism. And now you have Trump's segment psycho Panther supporters getting a hold of the guy's cell phone and calling him.

Very messed up

This Trump thing is really weird. A problem in his behavior during this is he has not been shown he has to change or stop doing weird things. Throughout the primaries, general election and now he has not only won but has not in any way shown that his behavior hurts him. He will continue to be weird and push boundaries until he suffers some sort of setback. Hopefully that setback will not be overly harmful to all of us.

People wanted change they can believe in. Some seem to like this change, some seem to hate it and some want any change at all. Bottom line is change was wanted and we got it. Only time will tell the end result. For me I view radically changing Washington and national politics is great. We will see if it is good.

The way elections are ran and covered for sure will change. As president, so far not much as it hasn't really started until he is in office. For now, the signals are clear he is changing the way communication and negotiation will be done. Again, not sure any of this will be good but status quo I was done with for sure.

Fair enough.

He hasn't even begun his presidency but I'm convinced Trump communicating and negotiating via Twitter is terrible.

I am hopeful that part will be stopped once he is actually in. Or as I posted due to a minor setback he is shown he should. One part of the Twitter that shouldn't be stopped is highlighting things he think are problems for the country as well as applying pressure to get things done. Being more measured, reserved and presidential though is needed.

He can't stop. His beta personality demands he respond to every criticism.

And his army of supporters LOVE when he shits on corporations/media/individuals on Twitter.

We all know presidents will have problems. Trump is going to be an easy target to bait into going over the edge. At this point I doubt Trumpets will care.

Nothing really has changed though. Its early but it appears that he will govern in the same fashion that other supply siders have governed in. Cabinet heavily infiltrated with rich people promoting the same failed ideas of the past 30 years. That is not change. Other than using Twitter to get out the message what is really changing? Now he is demonizing workers because one guy decides to tell the truth about his solution.

This dude is going to toe as close to the line as he can without violating the laws of this country. He looks more and more like an autocrat with each passing day. I don't doubt that he will have his own version of an "enemies list" very soon either. He may already have it and it is just a question of what he will do with it. He is a vindictive dude that always looks to settle scores and now that he has political power there is no doubt that he will abuse it.

After Chuck Jones called Trump a liar, which of course is what he is, the Trumpets have been sending death threats to Jones. My goodness, is this country fucked.

Trump gave Carrier $7M in subsidies, so they can send 1300+ jobs to Mexico anyway. MANY of the jobs that are staying were never leaving in the first place, yet he just declares that he did something great, and his idiot supporters lap it up.
