Listened to a podcast (We Got This) that covered this topic recently, and those jokers landed on the Captain American trilogy (First Avenger, Winter Soldier, Civil War) as the best of all time.

WHAT SAY YOU?

I have a friend who once complained to me about the original Star Wars trilogy, "George Lucas sucks, it was supposed to be a trilogy but he only made three."

There always feels like a weak spot in a trilogy (Godfather III, Jedi, the other 2 Matrix movies), these podcast clowns may be on to something. I still haven't seen Civil War, but the first 2 were solid.

That said, I still consider the original Star Wars trilogy the best of all time.

Its tough because Godfather III and Jedi were both trash. It's hard to knock Star Wars out of the conversation though...even with a bad third movie.

The first two Captain America movies were solid, I haven't seen Civil War yet.

I'm on board with the Cap movies. All 3 solid entertainment and put's Cap where he should be as far as comicbook movies go. That scene in the elevator in the 2nd movie still ranks high with me as maybe one of the coolest fight scenes of all time.

You are insane. It has one of the funniest scenes ever. When Binky realizes what kind of bar he is in, I was rolling had to stop and rewind the movie I missed so much laughing.

The 3rd wasn't as good but Home Alone I and Home II were great.

3 Ninjas I and 3 Ninjas II were awesome. Good enough to carry the 3rd. I do not recognize the 4th.

as for the topic, I'd have a hard time giving this distinction to anything other than either original Star Wars or Lord of The Rings.

I stand by my original statement, Kevin Smith has made exactly one good movie in his life, Clerks.

My entry is definitely the original Star Wars Trilogy only because I grew up with it. The movies came along at the perfect time in my childhood, especially the first two. It was a time when going to the movies was really the only way to see a show. Even if stuff made it onto tv down the road, it was no where near the experience of going to the show.

I laugh at all of them. I get Dogma, but I was never crazy about it. Hell I laughed at that piece of garbage Clerks 2 with Kinky Kelly and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back with the Clit Commander.
