My first thought runs to Casino Royale...the black and white really did a great job in selling that it was a reboot and seeing Bond earn his 00 status was pretty cool.

2013 CSFMB ROY

I loved the opening to Reservoir Dogs because of the dialogue at the breakfast table, the entire tipping sequence with Steve Bucshemi. It's not high action, but it sets a great one for the edginess of the movie. Mr Blue is still the best.

But, he ends the opening by breaking the 4th wall and saying "This never happened to the other fella." That's awful.

The amazing thing is it is basically a straight up word for word reciting of a Patton speech to the 4th Armored Division before they deployed to France.

I was told that immediately after I first saw the movie and couldn't believe it. Now I laugh at that & how Scott must've felt after seeing the impact of that first scene.
