NBK was written By Tarrenteno. He was so pissed with all the changed that Stone made he forced them to take his name off. He then made his version, the much better True Romance.

Wrong.

True Romance was released before Natural Born Killers you dope.

Quote:
Natural Born Killers grew out of Tarantino’s original, massive script for True Romance (itself a rewrite of a script called The Open Road, by Tarantino’s occasional collaborator and video store co-worker Roger Avary). It was originally, oddly enough, a film-within-a-film; True Romance’s character Clarence (played by Christian Slater in Tony Scott’s eventual film version) was writing a screenplay while traveling across the country with Alabama (Patricia Arquette), and that ultra-violet road movie in his mind was what became Natural Born Killers.

Tarantino was given story credit for NBK because of WGA rules.

Jaws 4 was even worse than Jaws 3. The shark has a vendetta on the Brodies and in some weird version of the film Jake is alive despite clearly being devoured by the shark.

Tah dey doh.

I couldn't imagine paying to see that at the show, but it is so intentionally stupid/fun bad I have to watch it if it ever comes on. (& for all you Bruce Levine haters out there, he has stated on more than one occasion that he loves that movie  )

My "worst" ever was Neighbors w/Belushi & Ackroyd. Admittedly I was an early teen when it came out (81, 82?) and wasn't prepared for the of movie it tried to be, but it was dull and quite weird. A complete waste of time, and possibly the best public evidence of Belushi's problems with speedballs.

Sa da tay!

I loved Neighbors.

Ramona: He tried to pork me.
Earl: Pork you? What?
Ramona: You know you did.
Earl: I swear, I never touched her.
Ramona: Well, I wasn't born with your hand in my bush.

Belushi and Aykroyd switching expected roles was genius.

Big Neighbors guy as well. My old man had it on VHS in the 80s and I liked it as a kid so it's stuck with me. Tim Kazurinsky was great in a small role.

See ya later, wartheaaaaddddd!

Drop Dead Fred is the worst movie I watched from beginning to end. I was a fan of Rick Mayall from his days on The Young Ones so I thought it has to get better. Sadly I was wrong. His character was supposed to be funny and endearing but was instead cloying and annoying. Simply Dreadful.

Yes, terrible movie. One of the worst I ever saw in the theater.

Crash the Oscar winner was very simplistic. Must have been a crap year for movies or the voting was rigged.

Ok... But worst movie you've ever seen? Come the fuck on. Bunch of fucking hipsters on this board. W_Z needs to hold a seminar on proper movie appreciation.

Memento is the worst suggestion in this thread. That's a great movie.

Nah, not the worst ever. Without the Oscar one might think it's just a meh movie. Being a winner it carries the burden of being great though, and it isn't IMO.

Did anybody ever see Howard the Duck?

Based on the responses, I'm guessing not.

"howard the duck" has gone through the shame, and now somehow has been deemed a classic because my generation sucks.

it's still not the worst though.

Seeing it as a teenager I only remember how hot I thought Lea Thompson was, so no, I didn't notice the quality at all.

(Did)honorable mention to A View to a Kill. Worst female lead in a Bond movie, Moore is old a shit, and the worst scheme this side of Die Another Day.

Awful.

New entry: We Are Your Friends with Zac Efron. Caught about 15 minutes of it over the weekend and only put it on because that might be the dumbest title to a movie I have ever seen. From what I gather it's a movie about deejaying. It's terrible. Whomever greenlit the film should be forcefully attached by their mouth to a toilet drain in a Chipotle bathroom for eternity.

Yeah, that was a pretty bad film. Extremely predictable.
