Sorry. As someone who makes his own destiny and doesn't rely on government, I've been able to keep my premiums manageable for my family and me. I don't need society to take care of my loved ones, and regulations don't impact me.

I run two businesses, Chico. I was not talking about individual coverage, but the problem is the same across the board - you just notice it less if your boss is paying a majority of it as a portion of your gross salary.

Imagine Donald Trump making decisions for your healthcare with NO other option available to you.

Single payer is worse than what we have now and what we had before.

The willingness people have to turn over your health to the whims of the federal government is just insane.

A non-subsidized public option is arguably better than what we have now. A single payer system is no way is.

Agreed. Medicare, Medicaid, ACA. Abolish it all. I'm healthy and yet my money is going towards the healthcare for poor, old and people unable to obtain uninsurance. Those people just need to die already.

Give to the needy, not the greedy.

Charitable healthcare is fine for the disabled, and the elderly who worked hard and built up their contributions have the right to enjoy those contributions - no doubt about it.

Everyone who is able does indeed need to do some form of work to get a bite of the peach.
