Enough already. The first 50 were ok. It's time to stop though.

Chicago should feel lucky to have evaded the 20 year torrent of bad moves exalting the virtues of south side white trash. it just became dirt cheap to film in Boston so they set a million movies there.

Boston hasn't mattered since the Revolutionary War. Stop making movies about the city.

You saw the new trailer for that dogshit Ben Affleck flik, didn't ya...it looks awful, like every movie that he's in..bad actor...his brother is a pretty good actor though.

This thread was inspired by the new movie about the Bawstahn Bahming.

Don't get me wrong. I like many Bawstahn-centric films.

We just need to find a new city for a while.

Everyone in Boston dresses like such shit that they make Chicago look like Milan. If JORR went to Boston Logan, a giant pajama party for girls who swear at their boyfriends, he might have a heart attack and die.

Alsip. Remake Falling Down. I know a guy who would be great for the lead role.

I thought the Town was just okay, Renner was the standout best actor and John Hamm and Affleck were the worst..could have been better if both were replaced.

And of course you mean Milan, IL.

I believe most "Chicago" movies are filmed in Toronto.

I agree there has been a saturation of Bah-stin pictures lately.

Could be the ticket selling power of the guys from the area?.. Affleck, Walhberg, Damon, etc.

However, I'll take any movie that is actually filmed where they say it is over a "Chicago" movie filmed in Toronto.

I hate that shit. That's the meatball in me. I was watching Bad Moms on Saturday and the movie "takes place" in Chicago. But you can tell in exterior shots that it was probably Atlanta, like they did with Barbershop 3 and The Boss.

I liked the Whitey Bulger movie, but I can't really think of any other Boston movies I've seen.

"The Departed" is one of my favorites. Good cast.

His last movie,The Accountant was set in Chicago. Good movie. I give it 4 out of 5.
Bad Santa 2 ,Chicago. Lots of movies are set in Chicago but filmed elsewhere because Rham has taken away the favorable setting Daley used to have for them. About the only serious production left in Chicago is the Wolf stuff they film out at the old Ryerson Steele Plant on Western.
