My mom lived in a senior building that had a senior center where they served lunch and had activities for the old folks. For some reason my mom had a beef with the woman who ran the senior center. Probably because the woman talked down to these people like they were mentally deficient instead of just elderly. My mother wouldn't let her get away with that.

The local Jewel used to bring over the flowers that were getting too old to sell for the seniors in the building. They dropped them off at the senior center. The woman who ran it acted like they were her property instead of a donation for the old people who lived there. One day my mom went in to get some flowers for her table and the woman started giving her shit about taking the flowers. My mom threw them at her and said, "Stick those dying flowers right up your ass!" She was then barred from the senior center.
