Did anybody catch the latest with Bob Odenkirk, who doesn't drink, going through Disco Demolition with Colin Hanks as Steve Dahl?

Not their one of their funniest but pretty interesting as a big Dahl fan growing up.

So it's just history then?

No. He gets drunk. It's just not his thing.

He doesn't seem that drunk, though.

Some quasi-celebrity or not-so-quasi gets drunk and tells a story from history and other actors act it out lip-syncing their drunken descriptions. Can't do it justice. Has to be seen.

Lin Manuel Miranda did one correct?

Yeah. I was looking forward to that but he wasn't that funny. He just said "fuck" all the time. But he took a call from Questlove that was pretty hilarious in the reenactment.

I think if you like Drunk History, you'd like Billy On The Street (Tues Nights on Tru TV.)

Miranda's whole episode was about Hamilton.

I think the show would be better if they replaced the aspiring somebodies they have get drunk with nobodies who really know the history but are willing to relay it in an interesting way...like, have the chair of the Yale history department get plastered and go off on some weird tangent no one has ever heard, or LBJ's tailor retell the story about the president calling from the white house and using the word "bunghole".

To me the show is already like this because I don't know the "celebrities" and usually it's about weird history I have not heard about. Like the con man selling the Eiffel Tower.

Yes, but I'd rather get the story from the horse's mouth rather than a producer interpreting what he has read and then a low level celeb interpreting what he has heard from the producer through the lens of trying to forward his career

My all-time favorite skit is the one about Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner.
