I used to play golf out in Marengo. A place called Two Oaks or something. I remember it had an old 9 and a new 9. It was quite a while ago so now they are both old.

If I recall, he was the guy who forced all the suburbs to take down their crosses around Christmas time. As a result, there was a movement for about 10 years of private citizens putting up crosses on their properties. You don't see those much anymore, so I guess the atheist won.

On a side note, I wonder what he was thinking as he faced death. Did he have any regrets, pray, etc? For all of organized religions' faults, there is a lot of comfort in faith when times are tough.
