The problem apparently isn't the horrible thoughts and scummy behavior of Hillary and her supporters. It's that Russians exposed them. Remember when liberals loved Wikileaks?

I remember when there was bipartisan support for investigating criminal break ins, election fraud and candidate disclosures. #Watergate2016

Come on, RR! You know there is bipartisan support for investigating this. McCain is leading the charge and McConnell gave a speech about it the other day. Even that lunatic Joe Walsh is railing about it.

That's not the point. The narrative that is being spun on the left is not based on real concern about Russian interference. It's about undermining the president-elect. This story is part of the "resistance".

I know you're kidding but I guarantee you most Americans who are only half paying attention think that's what this is about rather than the simple fact that leaked emails- regardless of how they came to light- showed Clinton and her cronies as the scumbags they are. And now some of them want a do-over.

In fairness it showed how stupid the people around her and the DNC were. You appear to be happy they were exposed and kinda indifferent about Russia hacking us.

I'm not indifferent about Russians hacking us. I just don't think that Trump should be blamed for it and I certainly don't think millions of votes are invalid because the Democrats would have preferred the public not know who they really are.

How dare someone reveal how scummy our candidate is while not revealing how equally scummy the other candidate is.

What concerns me the most about the push to stop fake news is it feels like its the start of state sponsored media. If people want to be blissfully ignorant with their news, they have that right. Also, if the dem's do push through some reform on "fake news", they do realize a Republican majority will soon be in charge. Do they really want to be giving them the first crack at shaping that control.

There already is a Republican majority. This fake news thing goes nowhere.

Isn't the baseless presumption that the RNC had emails detailing scummy behavior equal to that of the DNC the very definition of "fake news"?

I begin to wonder where MANY around here come down on the real story about how the RNC orchestrated the fraudulent use of a flawed program like Crosscheck and other sleazy tactics to rob people of color of their right to vote, or have it actually counted.

Barry Goldwater walked into the White House to get Nixon out, I have yet to see the lousy leaders of the state's rights party actually do anything. That you name McConnell is laughable, he's already accepted payment for his complicity with his wife's appointment. He's done nothing bipartisan since Obama's inauguration night scheming.

I don't think I've defended the RNC in anyway. This election was served up to the Clinton on a silver platter. I sat in amazement as the night unfolded mostly in shock and indifference. My enjoyment in the election was seeing my sister in law break down over the result. I don't think Trump is a good thing for the country. I felt Clinton was marginally better, but I wasn't going to give her a vote.

If she could have a do over and focus only on winning the electoral college, she wins and there is nothing Trump could do about it. Its as simple as that.

 No, please continue. But I don't think you'll find much disagreement with the idea that the Republicans are the party of vote supression.

Roger Stone and people close to his campaign had knowledge of it. Hell Trump even asked for it. You're rightfully blaming Hillary for the stupidity of the people around her but feel Trump is blameless for playing footsies with Putin and having guys like Stone and Manafort around him.

There are some striking parallels between the way Brooklyn ran that campaign and Billy Beane de-emphasizing his scouting department in favor of Paul DePodesta's computer. One resulted in a maniac being elected president and the other in the drafting of fat catchers and crooked-armed pitchers.

I think there will be books and you see the start of the story telling already. One reason is HRC is done and wields no power over people anymore to keep them quiet. Secondly, they will all want their version out to say "see it wasn't my fault".

I remember Game Change about the 2008 election and Hillary was torched in there.

I want something similar to that this time around.

It would be great.

if anyone wants to see an awesome ~7min animation that totally sums up the 2016 election check this out. this video kicks ass. ol girl emily youcis, aka "pistachio girl" from citizens bank ballpark in philly, might have latched on to *chan culture / white nationalism "for the lulz" and lost a prestigious gig @ aramark for being "outed" as an internet nazi, but hey this chick can draw/animate. she's really fucking good.
