It's still early, and I'm a little hungover.

My wife had a get together at Mickey Finn's this afternoon. She brought me home a growler of Santa's Magic. It's great.

Going to hit Woodmans this afternoon and stop by the beer section on my way out. I haven't purchased beer from there in a few
years and I know they have a pretty good selection. Going to try to find an IPA I have never tried before to drink after moving
snow tomorrow afternoon. Any favorites out there someone could suggest? A double IPA would be even better. ha ha

I'm not sure about the Wisconsin beers. I haven't been up there since before daughter #2 came along, and I've always wound up unimpressed with the Wisconsin beers. Last time I was up there, there was no Half Acre, no Revolution, none of my standard go-to's.

Take a look for some Dogfish Head if they distribute up there. Can never go wrong with the Lagunitas selections either.

I missed your post before going. Picked up some Stone Go To IPA. Never had anything by Stone. Also a 4pk of Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA. Never tried their IPA before. Such a huge selection up there. These had good "ratings".

I like Sierra Nevada's stuff. Never been a big fan of Stone. Arrogant Bastard isn't bad. They made a coffee stout that was pretty OK.

Scream DIPA. SOLID.

Which Woodman's you going to T-Bone? I prefer Oak Creek to Kenosha. Either way, their alcohol selection is outstanding.

I live in Kenosha so I go here. Probably the first time I've purchased beer there in many years. Used to be a regular there but didn't buy much beer. I am a total newbie with this craft beer stuff but really enjoying trying new things and buying 4 and 6 packs, just trying to hit on a few. I don't really have any true favorites as of yet. There are some local breweries around here and would like to get growlers but that is down the road maybe.

I enjoy Stone. Hard to go wrong with them.

Grapefruit Sculpin from Ballast Point is pretty solid as well.

If you see any Pipeworks stuff there, get that for sure. I live in MA now, so I'm not sure what distribution is like for that brewery.

If I drank two or three of those, I would have a headache. It's probably the malt.

I got a taste for Goose, the only place here that has it is engine no 9. I might hit is tomorrow for the Hawk game. I wonder what one they will have on tap. I really hate these states that have the set ups where they have beer stores , liquor stores separate. It is messed up when you want just a plain ole bottle of vodka when you are at Walmart. You have to leave the building and go into a totally separate entrance.

In Connecticut, you can only buy alcohol at package stores, and they weren't open on Sundays until a couple years ago. Puritan assholes...

When I was in Tennessee over the summer, there was only 1 liqour store in the entire county.
