Measured the lowest part in my backyard and it came out to about 7 inches. Light and fluffy Saturday night. During the day yesterday
it had a bit of moisture to it.

This sucks. This weekend is going to suck. Monday and Tuesday are going to suck. Fortunately it gets a little warmer as we get closer to Christmas. And of course it figures that the precipitation we get next weekend on Christmas Eve & Day will be rain/sleet, and not snow.

What channel/weather person do you listen to for the best forcast? I usually watch channel 7, but Cheryl Scott is getting worse. This bitch hasn't been right about any of these damn snow storms yet. Must be distracted.

personally i use weather underground (wunderground.com)/android-app for my weather needs. for appx the last ~5-7 days they've had today as a ~4-6" snow day starting around 3pm or thereabouts.

Tracy Butler does a good job of showing you the different models so you can see why they have the ranges they do.

I check www.northernillinoisstormchasers.com and have them liked on Facebook so their forecasts pop up quickly. Also use Weatherbug and it's pretty accurate.
