Dangerous stuff.

Isn't that the plot for Into the Mouth of Madness?

awww damn, who can forget years ago when 'THRO used to PM me trying to ask my opinions about conspiracy theories and politics and whatnot.... he listened to a couple'a my old rap songs and basically said the obvious thing ("you can say some shit but your style/delivery sucks") and he was "cool with me" to the extent that when i had those weird "fanclub" people popping up in my day to day life one of them at the addison dave and busters' bar even went out of his way to claim that he was panther [pisla]...

...but now when i saw him come back i was like "hey dude whats up!? it's been awhile.... what do you think about the election? hey check out this crazy story that happened to me since last we talked! sorry TLDR but yeah whassup dude?!?!" --- and now he's "too busy" to deal with [my tripe] so basically yeah, dude bigtimes me nowadays like i guess the overall utility is shitting on me cuz you know, go figure the "cool people" here seem to be pretty much OK/good with me, but the lameass circlejerkers who make me seriously worry about their job security like "how come you're able to hang out here almost-exclusively between 9am-5pm?" = the people who wanna trip and me and shit on me....

....of course it's because they get all kinds of mad that even tho i'm a total piece of shit who's totally beneath them i'm the one who still hasn't had anyone tell him that his lottery ticket isn't a winning ticket, meanwhile all these guys are engaged in what i call "societal compatibility mode" as they couldn't figure out any worthwhile pursuit for their life, so they got with the best looking chick who could tolerate them for more than 15mins at a time, bought a house/condo/something, and then planted their said in said chick so they can play house and "recharge the energizer batteries for the "real people" out there who need the peasants to stay in line and keep society running so, example, there's always retail stores chock full of shit that they can casually go and buy whenever they want, on the backs of the hard work of the 99% of the pyramid under the [strangely floating?] capstone =)

and the best part = because i'm 35 and i didnt wanna "play house" like them they use THAT as the unilateral measure of success/worthwhileness.... you know, like i couldn't knock up some lameass bitch and give up all of my dreams to go work a soul-crushing job to get a shitty house that will keep a roof on my head so i can go on the CSFMB and tell the "Weirdos" who have successfully ducked "real world responsibility" for ~35yrs how much they suck cuz they're not winrars like me! =P

ahhhh well sorry i went against what i said yesterday about being done yesterday, but sometimes i remember "oh lol i have http://www.myspace.com/electricannihilator hahahahah" and follow my dad' advice and "take a little pride in myself" but then that compels the usual suspects here to remind me that pride is one of the seven deadly sins and rah rah rah blah blah blah someday i hope i can get a 9-5 gen office job so you lot REALLY respect me =P

hey tall midget, years ago i realized that i loved electronic music and i wanted to spend my life making electronic music.... the problem was in terms of $$$ (which i'm sure you and all of don tiny's "good upstanding people" would use as an inexorable measure of your overall superiority to me) that you'd have to spend like $5000-20k on a studio, and then after that investment you gotta learn how to use all that stuff.... and then at the end of the day since you're an aphex twin jockrider (tho i prefer "acolyte" =) you're not gonna make any sort of $eriou$ money out of the deal.

Blah, blah, blah. Do you have a point? Is this writing an example of the stylistic innovation you claim to have brought to the internet? 'Cuz it sounds like a lot of drivel to me.

Quote:
then i stopped and thought about rapping.... see, the only instrument i need is my voice (and that costs $0) and then all i'd have to do is lose a fair amount of weight and try really hard.... and then i'd have a pretty decent rigged lottery ticket because white rapping is still such a niche that like, you know, going for "GOAT white rapper" isn't that big of a deal. i mean, after eminem how many great white rappers are out there? slug from atmosphere used to be one (god loves ugly = cutoff tho), sage francis? el-p? there's plenty of room if i wanna go that route.

So you weren't motivated by a creative instinct or love of art, then. Rather, you simply chose to be a "white rapper" because you think it will pay off for you? In other words, you subscribe to exactly the same set of conventional and materialistic values that you criticize so many others for having--without knowing anything about them, mind you. Aside from being unoriginal and shallow, you are also apparently a hypocrite.

Quote:
so right away i started out making tracks that went for it, you know, as hardcore 100% rap nerd as i could go. this track here kind of got me the respect of the greatest rapper to ever walk the earth and then from there, fully cognizant of the fact that my style/delivery sucked [however if i ever got into a studio with a competent producer/engineer i could easily learn how record "real" verses and raps] i branched out and started doing stuff like this which leaned more towards the intellectual/backpacker side of the rap spectrum, but i always knew i could go visceral and crank out sit like this --- and again, all i have to do is lose some weight and try really hard and i could do that for a living. i could shit out articles/columns/podcasts/dj-mixes/whatever.... i just never cared about it. someday i will, but not right now.

I don't claim to be a rap aficionado, but none of this struck me as particularly good. And again, you posture as some kind of subversive while vehemently embracing a conventional value system that's also distinguished by a lot of misogyny and homophobia. As a rapper, your style is played out. But, hey, you can still probably get a job working for Steve Bannon.

Quote:
yes i know my style sucks. yes i know the fidelity is low, but i say some shit.

So you don't have the voice, gravitas, or delivery to be a great rapper, but somehow you're confident that you can be a great rapper? OK. Do you know how dumb you sound? I guess your verses are good for someone just starting out. In the rap world, that probably makes you the equivalent of the bagger who wins the "employee of the week" award at the local Jewel.

Quote:
and in terms of "saying some shit" i reckon that's why you've got such an e-hardon for me despite the fact i dont even know you: you're bitter and jealous that you're so much better than me yet despite all of that i still remain closer to having a legit chance to realize my hopes-n-dreams in life (none of that wife-n-kids bullshit, i mean the real shit like growing up to be an astronaut, race car driver, or rapper) because without even so much as a modicum of effort i am what you've worked your whole life to be: a tall midget.

Are you really this deluded? Why would anyone be jealous of someone who is convinced of his own greatness but has accomplished nothing and--by his own admission--aspires to accomplish nothing?

George Carlin wrote:

Have you actually met people who are talented and successful, especially artists? They figuratively--and sometimes literally--kill themselves to articulate their visions of the world. The fact that you think otherwise suggests your arrogance is matched only by your ignorance. Or maybe you're just afraid to "try really hard" because you know in your heart of hearts that you'll fail, and your delusions of grandeur will finally and irrevocably be deflated. Either way, you're to be pitied, not envied.

TM, I already decided on my poster of the year. But if I had an electoral college system, the votes might have changed based on that response.

You're deliberately misinterpreting what I said to claim some kind of moral high ground to which even you apparently realize you're not entitled. I called you a parasitic grandson because, based on your characterization of your lifestyle, the description fits. I have no opinion of your grandfather.

It's truly astonishing that you seem to fashion yourself as a poetic visionary yet you spout nothing but cliches. Not only are you unoriginal, but I don't think you would be capable of recognizing an original thought if you heard it in a song or read it in a book. You position yourself in opposition to a world to which you seek access at the most fundamental levels. Your bankrupt value system combined with your sweeping lack of self-awareness renders you a pathetic figure.

No hard feelings - I'm just not interested in reading thoughtcloud-type posts.

I do appreciate that you unstuck your enter key and you now use actual paragraphs to separate your long thoughts.

Leave a little to the imagination, though. Less words = more meaning. I know you have been told this 1,000 times and you are worried about losing your brand identity, but I am just saying that reading your stuff is like trying to read a newspaper in a room that is lit by a strobe light. It, quite literally, hurts the eyes.

Don't narrate - type.

Do you believe this is true or are you lying as a debate strategy? It doesn't matter--you've exposed yourself (yuck!) either way.

Quote:
i wanna see his facebook page so i can behold his glory and his wife/family and then i can make some snarky shoyts at him,

Hey, I think this is the first time in your posting history you've actually expressed ambition to do something! Congratulations! Now, granted, the ambition you express reveals that you are pretty deranged, but I guess the journey of a thousand miles really does begin with a first step.

Quote:
but seeing as he's a smug smarmy pedantic faux-intellectual bitch who has to take shots at the kind of greatness he can only hope of being, he's run off to go and hide (inexorably ending up being something like "sorry sini i have a life so i cant sit here and argue with you all day" --- watch. all he can do is dish out ad-hominem platitudes at me and basically be like "YOU'RE SINI AND YOU SUCK, THEREFORE I TRANSCEND YOU BY DEFAULT" ---

Wait, you're saying you're opposed to ad hominem attacks? Have you read any of your posts here and in other threads? I'd advise you to do so, but I'm not an advocate of physical or psychological torture.
Quote:
cuz if this dude ever tried taking me on in any arbitrary debate or competition on an equal playing field i'd squash him like the little dumbass twit that he obviously is....

Yes, you're quite the intellectual giant, aren't you? Nobel laureates quake in their boots at the mere whisper of your name.

Quote:
...and i say obviously cuz i've always had this thing in my life where short/small people and especially faux/intellectual people love to beef with me cuz they figure their societal status > mine = "victory over me by default" and since they secretly rate me as some kind of !!! that makes them feel better about themselves/

Apparently, your lack of self awareness is so profound that you don't even realize the considerable extent to which your posts in this thread seek to elevate your stature by mentioning how important you are within rap or other subcultures. Because you have no sense of intrinsic self-worth and can measure yourself only by what others--presumably VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE--think of you, you are a captive to the very status system you say you reject. :(

I just listened to 'Played Out', by Sini Selegend (self-proclaimed legend), and I gotta say, if he had someone who actually had rhythm and some tone to his voice spitting the words, it could come off as something unique and interesting. Not the worst ever, but clearly an overt effort to be complicated, which is the type of rap I usually stay away from.

What trips me out is apparently no one has ever told Sini it takes hard work to chase your dreams. Especially in the artistic field. That industry is hyper competitive, and you need to be practicing/refining your craft constantly to maintain relevancy. My younger brother will go a month working 8-12 hours a day to score a small documentary or low budget film on top of working 30 some hours at a regular job. He's a zombie during those stretches, but he loves what he creates. You can't expect to just fall into success. You have to bust your ass.

I just don't get the "proud to be a vagabond" schtick. If no one has pushed you, then you gotta find that drive within yourself. Life doesn't wait, and time could care less about what you've accomplished in the past.

I think I just heard the worst rap ever. I may have freestyled better stuff when I was 9. I am literally in tears right now. I love this board.

Better stick to your terrible sports thoughts. You clearly know nothing about hip hop. I'm finna sign this boy as soon as he gets done making this Midget look silly.

I don't like opposing Sini on things, because I know he has a good heart, and us outlaws gotta stick together, no doubt. I don't know exactly why I criticize his posting style in the manner which I do.

He seems like a decent guy - I do not want him to feel bad in any way. I actually WANT to be able to read his posts, though. It is very selfish by me, no doubt, telling him how to post, but, again, I am just offering-up what it would take to get me to read them.

hey tall midget, years ago i realized that i loved electronic music and i wanted to spend my life making electronic music.... the problem was in terms of $$$ (which i'm sure you and all of don tiny's "good upstanding people" would use as an inexorable measure of your overall superiority to me) that you'd have to spend like $5000-20k on a studio, and then after that investment you gotta learn how to use all that stuff.... and then at the end of the day since you're an aphex twin jockrider (tho i prefer "acolyte" =) you're not gonna make any sort of $eriou$ money out of the deal.

Blah, blah, blah. Do you have a point? Is this writing an example of the stylistic innovation you claim to have brought to the internet? 'Cuz it sounds like a lot of drivel to me.

then i stopped and thought about rapping.... see, the only instrument i need is my voice (and that costs $0) and then all i'd have to do is lose a fair amount of weight and try really hard.... and then i'd have a pretty decent rigged lottery ticket because white rapping is still such a niche that like, you know, going for "GOAT white rapper" isn't that big of a deal. i mean, after eminem how many great white rappers are out there? slug from atmosphere used to be one (god loves ugly = cutoff tho), sage francis? el-p? there's plenty of room if i wanna go that route.

Aside from being unoriginal and shallow, you are also apparently a hypocrite.

so right away i started out making tracks that went for it, you know, as hardcore 100% rap nerd as i could go. this track here kind of got me the respect of the greatest rapper to ever walk the earth and then from there, fully cognizant of the fact that my style/delivery sucked [however if i ever got into a studio with a competent producer/engineer i could easily learn how record "real" verses and raps] i branched out and started doing stuff like this which leaned more towards the intellectual/backpacker side of the rap spectrum, but i always knew i could go visceral and crank out sit like this --- and again, all i have to do is lose some weight and try really hard and i could do that for a living. i could shit out articles/columns/podcasts/dj-mixes/whatever.... i just never cared about it. someday i will, but not right now.

Hard work is for people short on talent.
