Thursday's show will be the last official "Boers and Bernstein" show with the two of them together and the last WYC. Danny will be solo a few days next week and the 1/5 show is Terry with guests. Last call.

Ok. Fine. Why are you bragging? Doesn't matter to me where you do the shows. The hosts get paid by sponsors to do these remotes. Bud Light pays them for the "Tavern Tour". If you didn't get paid you wouldn't do them. So don't say "We're the show that goes to the people." No. You only do it cuz you get paid.

B&B is the reason I started listening to sports radio. Going to be sad.

Wow.

I guess it's also interesting that Bernstein is gonna be solo for a few shows. Maybe Mitch is considering "Solo Bernstein".

Or maybe they just do not want to get anyone else because of the holidays.

Not everything is some test trial for what is next on the show.

Dan said something about hoping the next iteration of the afternoon show continues to do the remotes.

Won't he be on the next iteration?

and yes, this really is a sad day. This show is not what it was, but it's still the best thing going.

I agree.... Say what you will about little Danny Bernstein but he does make for an interesting conversation on this board. Hell he has singlehandedly made Beardown nuts. ARRRGGHHHHH!

My feelings as well. I really get aggravated with Bernsie and get on him a lot. Still haven't found a better Chicago sports radio station though.

For what its worth a guy called in a few minutes ago to say goodbye to Terry. He mentioned he couldn't do so later as he was starting chemo treatments. It went on a little bit but Terry said he understood what the guy would be going through. So maybe cancer maybe not but a hint if you absolutely have to know.

The caller said radiation treatments, which is different from chemo. But Terry did say "I know exactly what you're going through, believe me, I know".

Mine was the Monsters but Dan and Terry became the must listen to show of the new Score.

Up until the Penn State stuff, they were really great.

Yeah, this show was so good once. It's been a long road down but only because they started from so high up.

I only found this site because of terryboers.com. I realize this makes MANY of you hate him more.

Ok. Fine. Why are you bragging? Doesn't matter to me where you do the shows. The hosts get paid by sponsors to do these remotes. Bud Light pays them for the "Tavern Tour". If they weren't good, nobody listens, no sponsors and no remotes. Doing 388 sponsored remotes is pretty impressive.

Fine. I just don't care from where they broadcast. I mean if it's an industry thing, brag about it at the Christmas party.

Mike North was the reason I started but B&B were the reason I kept listening to The Score instead of WMVP.

B&B was the whole reason I started listening to sports radio, posting on this board, and pretty much cared about Chicago media in general.

It is. Bernstein has always been the weaselly little shit of a person that he is today. If anything it's you guys that have changed.

The Penn State stuff was the final nail in the coffin. I can't recall the order of it all now, but I remember how definitive they were about Dunn and Cutler. Also the CTE talk was over the top. It was around that time that I woke up to the reality that this show made me angry rather than satisifed. Further, I can't even recall why I ever liked it because the more recent past overshadowed my affection for the earlier years.
