Bernstein has the last B and B show to give his thoughts. I think this is how it was planned. He will be there for Terry's last show though as he said drinky was giving him production directions.

It's telling how much Dan's impact on the Score has made this final show a moment of celebration for some glad to see the show "over" in a sense, while others choose to recall the good things about Terry's contributions.

Meh. I enjoyed B&B way more in the midday era, and agree with a lot of what some have said about "adversarial radio," manufactured fan resentment, and Terry's surrender to Dan in all things since Penn State. That said, I've got so many little wonderful memories of this stupid show that I can't help but feel positive today instead of shitting in Terry's unfinished grave.

Terry had to have something jaw related. Watching the stream on Facebook, Terry's left side of the jaw is huge. Swollen maybe? Idk, doesn't look good.

Oh god, yeah. Don't know if it's something like a oral cancer, bone cancer, maybe some kind of salivary gland thing.

The Terry Farewell Show is 1/5. I think that is the appropriate time to thank Terry for a job well done...and all in all, it has been a job well done at the Score.

Today is the B and B Farewell Show. Hand that show its hat and tell it to hit the bricks, as far as I'm concerned.

A lot of the callers today are wishing Dan luck in his next venture, they're treating him like he's got a national gig coming, but he's not leaving the station, right? Or might he try to be a progressive talker in a news-talk format?

True enough.

And really I don't think anyone, at least generally, has much of anything against Terry, moreso what the show/station has become since Dan rose to prominence.




Dan already said today he'd be continuing to do afternoons.

Prior to the 3rd month of Penn State banter I thoroughly enjoyed this show and the daily musings of those of us that listened. The freaking daily show topic threads were comedic gold more times than not.

Couldn't go and cannot listen. Keep the updates coming please....for old times sake...

I tried listening, but the endless guys seemingly on the verge of tears is not a particularly interesting listen. Plus its a reminder to reprogram the car radio buttons soon.

Earlier I heard Dan make a subtle remark when talking about the video stream, because the show doesn't stream video often, he said that he wasn't thinking like he was on camera, then threw in "though I think in the future I'll have to do that".

This show may have been the best show in radio history in terms of connecting with the listeners and creating lifelong bonds with them. I'm starting to think this show may go down as the GOAT in Chicago sports radio.

was just able to pull up the video stream. He does have that look. His voice also sounds a little like Bobby Heenan following all his medical problems as well
