I think Rongey said something to the extent of, the 83 thing will evolve, but he can't say anything more or else he'd ruin the surprise (this was around 3:45).

I had a question for Hub about his idiotic statement that Tom Brady can't be MVP because of the 4 game suspension and that dumb motherfucker took up over half of the segment. Needless to say I didn't get to ask my question. I've mostly stopped listening to B&B because of how insufferable Bernstein has become, but I enjoyed how Rongi was needling Dan as I sat stuck on 55.

Fuck Frank from Oak Park. He should have got the shotgun when he started listing Bears coaches in chronological order.

Listened for the first time in a LONG time today, and as was guessed earlier, with Rongey in there, the silly was brought, and was really a fun listen ("...way to go, Paul..." :lol:

). I also agree that maybe Rongey would be too much as a full-timer - same with Cowley, but once a week would be just fine.

I could definitely see the new show as a "Bernstein & Friends" thing, with a rotating co-host, much like Kaplan's show.

Bernstein will run the show, and I expect all of his social/political opinions to be seen as gospel. I think he will invite sports conversation, though not necessarily debate, with his partner though so hoping the show sticks to sports and not any of the side items that he has been known to venture into.

I'd like Dan to be solo so that there could be a metric of his actual value.

My thought is that rating would slowly erode, which he would blame on the slow sports season. They would return during the Cub season but he would not attribute it to the Cubs.

Whoever bought these domains also used GoDaddy's in-hosue "private" domain listing service, the listed registrar is "Domains By Proxy, LLC". Wouldn't CBS just put in their corporate info?
