First time I ever had an Old Style was at Wrigley about 15 years ago whilst the Tigers were beating the hell out of the Cubbies. Had a parking pass, sold a spare ticket well above FV to a Wayne Stylie type who chose to sit elsewhere and not behind the Tigers dugout with us, roasted a dozen or so Cubbie fans and watched a slaughter. You'd have though I had better feelings about that dump, but one day of happiness in that pile isn't enough. The lukewarm Old Style was horrendously bad.

First beer was Drewery's or Red White and Blue, I think.

We would pick up 7oz bottles of High Life at the Korean convenience store in North Chicago...then go play quarters.

Drank Old Style when we went up to watch my buddy's big brother race up at the Union Grove Drag Strip...or when we stopped in at his friend Tiny's bar on 41...Fatman's.

Almost all beers have a place depending on what they are, dare I say, paired with. I don't drink much anymore so I enjoy the overpriced, craft stuff but I still enjoy a Pabst or even a Miler Lite on occasion.
