Cubs in five but just to be sure I would offer some of the SUX money to throw the series.

Yeah. The defending World Champs with Manny and Big Papi in their line-up sure did suck. I think the White Sox are built better for the playoffs and the Cubs for a regular season, but the AL teams were far better than the shitty Dodgers and Giants. Both teams could not hit.

White Sox pitching would have controlled Cubs hitting. The White Sox lineup was strong, but I think Cubs pitching would shut them down over the series. As much as Podsednik was a factor, Lindor was supposed to be that same factor and we saw what happened. Probably a good match-up that goes 5-6 games. As I thought the Cubs lose the series if Salazar is healthy, I would also think the Sox would have beat the Cubs with their staff and pen.

The 2005 White Sox faced no top tier pitching in the playoffs except Clemens.

The 2016 Cubs are better. Accept it, move on.

Nope. 6 playoff losses is not better than 1.

Just like Kerry Wood vs a perfect games, Cubs lose again.

I think we can all agree that the preferable outcome would be a Cubs win so that it would get national media coverage (and maybe even local media coverage).

When the core group for the Cubs goes on to win multiple Championships, this will be seen as the silly question it is. The Cubs are vastly superior.

They limped in. They were what one former poster here would describe as a M*A*S*H unit . Matt Clement was the Game 1 starter. And the Angels didn't have that years Cy Young winner, Bartolo Colon.

You mean Oswalt. Redneck Clemens pussed out as per usual with big games.
