I'd love to hear a Luigi's of Hong Kong commercial right about now

the last B&B show was already done, and in public.... this show is not about B&B

No,it's about a guy who talks on the radio. The listeners are what is referred to as the "Bread & Butter".

You clearly aren't enjoying any of this, so why don't you turn it off and do something else?

I firmly believe the station was better when athletes were reluctant to call in and teams were not broadcast on it

Another 'bathroom' segment.

Listening to all this and the reaction has reminded me of one thing: Danny Bernstein has had an enormous influence on the station, and it's not really a good thing.

That a boy. We got us a new board member who is a current or former employee

He joined in 2006

I started listening in late 90s/early 2000s (both during insomnia or other random boredom). Was a big Scorehead/fan but have switched to ESPN over the years and now just a bunch of random different shows and podcast but pretty much never the Score anymore. Bernstein is a big reason. I just wasn't interested in a bunch of political stuff, being talked down to, or a 'grammar nazi' type of style towards callers...it shouldn't be that serious. Then they would lie about sources and inside info, would be hypocritical, would be wrong and ignore it, and it just all together turned me off.

You know, b&b was great when it came up with random BS like "the giant head of rich kotite rising up over the horizon of [bad football team's stadium] to preside over bad football"

...now Dan's busy calling ppl who voted for trump Nazis... *shrug*

Agreed with the sports teams...seems like a conflict of interest...they should be fair and balanced during their coverage.

RFDC,
How many guys/girl on here have ripped B&B over the last 4 -6 years? Is the way they have behaved when it came to just being a couple of mean spirited bastards all forgotten?
I know Bernstein was responsible most of the time, but bobbleheading his every thought was Terry.

I'm enjoying the show.

But, it is a bit uncomfortable watching Boers host a solo show.

Yeah, can't imagine them letting Murph go scorched earth on Ed Lynch and Andy McSweatervest like the old days

#Synergy happened. People like Bernstein realized that carrying water for the teams = butters their bread >>>>>> "idiot fans" being the reason for all this.

Indeed, once sports talk radio proved to be a profitable medium (I.e. no more need for Imus to do mornings) the teams realized that gaining favor at the sports talk stations for #Synergy reasons is way more important than seeming "authentic" to the fans/listeners.

Hell, you can even blame the inherent success of the format, because once it became obvious that "they'll listen anyways" then you didn't have to worry about pandering to "the great unwashed" anymore. C'est la biz, no?

I got to give Terry credit, doing this with no breaks must be tough in general, let alone someone who has had health issues.

Also now Matt alludes to a baseball trip they're taking this summer

Unless they are bringing them back, shouldn't they have worked in a backward chronology and had The Original Score Reunion in the last hour?

Just tuning in. Did they do a special tribute to me yet? Or are they waiting for the drive time hour?

I'm gonna catch the rerun at 6 on the SCORE. Has it been good? I saw Da Ma Na posted he was on during the 2pm hour. Which means 7pm tonight. Looking forward to that.

I'm watching on facebook. Terry's left cheek is still swollen.
