No, he really doesn't. Terry Boers isn't a sociopath that would put on such an extravagant performance in the last segment of his retirement show to make people think he loves Drinky, for the love of God. I don't even know if Dan would do something like that. That was real, human emotion from Terry to Matt, and it was, in all honesty, refreshing.

Agreed and it was very nice to hear.

The whole Dan/Terry hate Matty and vice versa narrative that some (one?) on this bored keeps pushing is utter nonsense.

Let me clarify that. Terry loves drinky like a son. But a little less once he learned of ICE GIRL. He despises that. Like all Dads would be, very disappointed in that. Weird that drinky would have ICE GIRL at the stage during the last B&B show. To bring her before daddy? No. But drinky is a dumb ass that doesn't understand much so it doesn't shock me.

You don't think Terry would be able to separate is on-air persona from how he treats personal friends? We all do that. If your family member (or someone you viewed as a family member) committed a crime, would you look down on them for the rest of their lives for it? Everyone makes exceptions when people they care deeply for do bad/dumb shit.

Yeah. I would look down on them. As does Terry. It makes it worse that drinky flaunts it. Don't talk to the girl of whom you're cheating on to a radio remote. Or if she came on her own, don't talk to her.

This isn't old fashioned. This is just basic common sense. It's not old fashion to think it's bad to cheat on your wife. I think it's worse if you're a newly wed with young kids. That's just me. White women should like that about me.

White women:
We still hate you.

Beardown: Good. Go get the drinky's of the world. Good luck with that.

White women:

It was. Bernstein mentioned it during his segment.

He is so damn unlikable to the very core...his looks...his posture...his speech pattern...just everything

Apparently you've never met him in person. Good guy IRL I've been told.

Chris Rongey is a bag. He tried to be funny, thinking off the top of his head, he went into a rant where he wished Terry would die on the air. He thought it was funny. It wasn't going well. But he kept on going. It was weird. God, is he a clueless idiot.

uhhhhhh what? did your "Score guy" tell you that? how the hell do you know what terry thinks re; casual adultery? i mean surely it came up back in the days of "humping and STUMPHING" and "YA-HAAAAA TIME!!!!" and wahtnot, but seeing as i remember those light/hearted terms to, example, give props to scott skiles for being some kind of noteworthy cocksman (howard stern's term for "CLIT Commander" -- i wonder what was on his mind? >=) so you know coming from years of hearing lighthearted references to athletes "being as faithful as their options are" (-chris rock) so you know, where do you get this hard-line moral stance from terry?

hell, i'd argue that a big ol chunk of the reason that terry is so universally beloved = he never seemed to get all "moral" and trip on stuff like that. you know, like he was the "good cop" to bernstein's "bad cop" --- so saying "well terry has kids so therefore he envisions every cheated-on-[GF/wife] as his own daughter" = LOLWAT?!?!

Les was thrown out when they discovered an unclaimed sweater left by the BBQ table that belonged to a female friend of his that he snuck into the show using a ticket set aside for Julie Swieca.

Terry loves drinky and always has. That should be obvious to even the most basic of intelligences

I have to say, I love that little scamp as well. He's one of those people whose indescretions only make him more charming, like clinton

I know. Terry loves him. I don't like him and hate him more after ICE GIRL. He was never charming and ICE GIRL makes him less charming. If he was a punk kid, I'd think it's funny or cool. He's divorced with a kid and then has 2 more kids with the second wife. Then ICE GIRL after the 2 kids with the 2nd wife. Not charming to me. Not cute.

Yeah, but Greenberg stayed in Chicago--working at Sports Channel and CLTV-- for the first four years of Bernstein's WSCR career. They were pretty friendly and Greenberg served as a career advisor to Bernstein for an extended period. I think he even tried to lure Bernstein to ESPN at one point but Dan didn't want to give up living in Chicago for a move to the middle of nowhere in Connecticut.

Given this history, it's interesting that Greenberg seems to hold Mac in significantly higher esteem than he does Bernstein.

Not really. He's a narcissistic dirtbag who seems to have no regard for those closest to him.

Why? Because I'm pretty sure Bernstein and Greenberg were pretty tight at one time.

Greenberg likes Mac because he got him drunk and laid as a poor 22 year old

I corrected that if you read. Loves him but hates the cheating. Since he's not an actual son, he can still love him.

Mac once told a funny story about him and Greenberg.

They had to share a hotel room for a Super Bowl. Mac said he had his ash tray on his stomach, smoking a cigarrette as he woke up. Then he looked over to the other bed as Greeny woke up and said "Hello Greeny" and Greeny looked at him in disgust. DA MA NA!!!!!!
