One of my favorites, valley native David Spade was involved in a pretty serious car accident in LA. He was making a left turn when he was hit by another car. One of his tires flew 100 feet. He's ok, just bumps and bruises. Photos from TMZ.

To me,getting a car hit that get's a wheel knocked 100 ft means you might have been close to death. I have had 2 near misses in my lifetime where I swerved my car at the last second or would have been seriously injured or killed.
