You can add his odd stance that it's easy for everybody to get a state ID. DMVs/Gov't buildings have been closed in MANY southern, rural areas where black people mostly live. These are facts, not opinions. To take his stance is to deny reality.

Mike had no problem getting his ID, so these stories I linked are obviously fabrications.

Yep I have no problems. I can get an ID, I can sign my kids up for school, I can apply for work, I can wander around the world because I went to the post office and got a passport. What is the issue? All those things took effort. With an appropriate amount of care, concern and assistance all can do the same.

I don't know what's going on in South Carolina or Alabama but in my mind is fix that. Help people be part of the process not exclude them. But I am sorry I am pretty firm. I'm not a fraud fearing person but I really feel strongly about illegal immigrats voting. Hang me.

Perfect example of how liberals are hypocrites. First they're pro-science. But here a scientist performed an experiment and easily got his ID. Now liberals are refusing to acknowledge the results of science. For shame. This is why Trump won.

I think we'll find that it's not a matter of 'understanding', it's 'acceptance' that is the actual issue at hand.

Russia Worked For Trump

Illegals at all times low. All times. All times.

Fake News satire thread gone wild.

RT is now better than NBC News. (I'm watching it right now)

BREAKING--(not from RT cuz they R in on secret)
Why did Russia refuse to retaliate for their 35 spies kicked out of USA? (rhetorical-shut up)
Because they already know identities of all the Clapper/Obama spies in USSRussia. (duh. Seen dis moobie afore)

Caseclosed?

A scientist got an ID, so that's a science experiment in your mind? I hope this post is in jest.

I forget where I read it, but I read an article that was trying to spin the idea that the Russians had spies pretending to be diplomats as some unprecedented act of war. Not that we actually know if those were spies, but I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that at least some of the 35 were and that there are still spies remaining.

And do people think the U.S. does not have spies in its Russian embassy? There's a fine line between diplomacy and tradecraft.

One of my friends is a metallurgical engineer who got his first real job at General Dynamics. At his orientation he received security clearance for specific projects on which he would be working. Of course, everything was on a "need to know" basis. But here's the fascinating thing. In the orientation they advised him that there were two confirmed Soviet spies working in the building. They controlled all the information these guys received and sometimes fed them misinformation. They also allowed for the possibility that there were additional spies of whom they were unaware and the possibility that the Russians were well aware that the two known guys had been discovered.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina senator and former GOP presidential candidate, said it was a “mistake” for some Republicans to celebrate the WikiLeaks revelations.
“To those who are gleeful about it, you’re a political hack; you’re not a Republican, you’re not a patriot,” Graham said on “Meet the Press.” “If this is not about us, then I’ll never know what will be about us. Because when one party is compromised, all of us are compromised.”

Agreeing with something someone says doesn't mean that you have to agree with everything that person has said.

I suppose you are also going to disagree with the obviously enlightened notion that because at some point the US did something unsavory to someone or someplace sometime in the past that we, as a nation, just have to lie back and take it when something unsavory is done to us.

I just find the timing of America suddenly discovering its backbone in standing up to Putin a little strange.

We've been accommodating him since Bush II. Remember when Vlad spun Bush like a top and Bush "saw Putin's soul"? And Obama has put U.S. power in full retreat surrendering leadership to Russia, but he's suddenly a Modern Cold Warrior over some e-mails. I call bullshit.

Obama gambled and lost. They knew what Russia was doing but were afraid to go public before the election. If he went public and Hillary won MANY Trumpets would believe that he was lying and played politics with our national security and of course rigged the election. He bet on Hillary winning and then exposing what should have been clear to anyone with a working brain. Now that he gambled and lost he's doing what he probably should have done from the beginning. He's doing what Trump clearly won't do. #BetterLateThanNever

Putin played him like a fiddle for 8 years. The POTUS is begging the Russians to work with him in that video link.

Playing tough guy at the end hardly helps him save face. It makes him look desperate and petty.

Before the election, I just couldn't wait for all the cancerous election stuff to end. I can see now that this is going to play out until Trump is no longer in office. America (the country) really does view the world through two completely separate lenses.

There is more than two.

It's pretty obvious now why the government wants to control the internet. Alternative points of view destroyed a carefully media message in 2016 election. The media learned their lesson. For like a day.

I liken the media to Jeb Bush's debate performances. Jeb would stand there in disbelief and say things like, "Come on America wake up and listen to what Trump is saying. You're not actually considering this guy for President." And then like the media seemed stunned and blindsided as Trump gained traction. Frankly, I kind of feel that way especially for how many times I told people there is no way Trump could win.

It seems very odd that many of the same people who have decried the concept of "American exceptionalism" for so long suddenly seem to be embracing it.
