The Democrats are lying, the media is lying, our country's national security and intelligence forces are lying, and anyone who could possibly believe anything that any of those entities are saying are sheep.

Where oh where are the "non-sheep" getting these truly "honest" news reports and stories?

It's funny that the only time anyone is accused of lying is when it doesn't fit the narrative.

“You have to listen to what the president-elect has said about that. Why don't you believe him? Why is everything taken at face value?” she asked anchor Chris Cuomo. “You can't give him the benefit of the doubt on this and he's telling you what was in his heart? You always want to go by what's come out of his mouth rather than look at what's in his heart.”

It's too bad VKM is so eager to suck-off Trump b/c Dutch Mantell could really go to town by slightly refining his 'We The People' character to mirror this kind of crap. Whether it would draw face or heel heat, though, I couldn't possibly guess.

Jon Stewart and Meryl Streep are rated just fine.

"Donald Trump did not always think Meryl Streep was “one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood.”

In fact, when asked if there are any leading ladies in Hollywood that he “loves” to watch during a 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Streep was one of two names mentioned by the president-elect.

“Meryl Streep is excellent,” Trump answered, adding, “She’s a fine person, too.”

Stewart is a fake newsman and Streep is a has-been. Maybe you haven't seen Rikki and the Flash. They don't give lifetime achievement awards to anyone but has-beens.

Look, I think it's petty for the President of the United States to be concerned with this type of bullshit, but that's who this guy is. But he wasn't necessarily wrong in his feelings. It was pretty ironic that she ended her rant with, "When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose." What was she doing if not using her power to bully? These wealthy and powerful actors haven't figured out that people who have real everyday problems don't want to be lectured by those who live in Malibu mansions with a bunch of servants.

Here's the thing though. Why does Trump as POETUS even exist? Because he was a celebrity running his mouth about politics. Inconvenient but unavoidable fact. So the Trumpkins really should have no complaint here other than for the most part they have skin thinner than Chas and don't like other opinions.

#Truth. You could swap out "actors" with "politicians" and still be correct about 98% of the time.

I think it's ridiculous that people give two shits over what someone in the entertainment industry says politically. I personally do not feel I am being lectured to by any of these dopes because they have zero impact on me.

I disagree with you there. Trump himself has thin skin, obviously, but I think we've seen post-election which supporters are really thin-skinned.

I think anyone who is objective can see that Trump is being covered differently and not in a positive way. The answer to that seems to be a dismissive, "Well, he is different" as if that's justification.

You don't strike me as an Establishment guy. I realize Establishment types have a prototype for who they would like as president, someone who has "experience", which I guess means having been a governor or a senator. Trump isn't the anti-Establishment guy you or I would have liked, but I think we should recognize that much of the heat he is taking is based on him not being a traditional candidate, not being a creature of the status quo. Having said that, of course he is often his own worst enemy. Why does the most powerful man in the world need to concern himself with the star of She-Devil?

At the time Jon Stewart was great at what he did. Streep has had a great career. No one considers her to be elite right now. John Elway isn't overrated because his career is over.

Except he didn't mock the man's disability. That's a fake news story.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/09 ... im-up.html

He mocked a reporter with a gesture he has used to mock many others including himself. Do you think a reporter should get special treatment because he has a disability? Are you an ableist?

Trump really demonstrated an understanding of the people that have real and everyday problems by selecting the richest cabinet in history.

Well, as I've pointed out before, most cabinet members aren't destitute.

I'll make a prediction about Trump's cabinet. It will have an extraordinarily high turnover rate.

I could not possibly disagree more. Of course that is what MANY Trump supporters believe but it's wrong. MANY here including myself would be Trumpets if that were the case. He's criticized for his words and actions. To be honest he isn't criticized enough. Imagine Obama or any other politician saying and doing the things he did? They definitely wouldn't be president. Hell Obama needed to damn near be a choir boy.

Trump has mastered the art of distraction. He has learned that the best way to distract attention from his personal attacks is to issue more personal attacks. That's an old ghetto trick.

That is kind of the point. If Trump did something like that, it would be all over the media as a top story for 3 or 4 days. Obama actually did it, and it was barely mentioned.

I am not a Trump supporter, but its very clear he is being covered in a way that no politician ever has before.

They must have used the same playbook in the old Irish ghettos as well.

Here's the thing though. Why does Trump as POETUS even exist? Because he was a celebrity running his mouth about politics. Inconvenient but unavoidable fact. So the Trumpkins really should have no complaint here other than for the most part they have skin thinner than Chas and don't like other opinions.

I could not possibly disagree more. Of course that is what MANY Trump supporters believe but it's wrong. MANY here including myself would be Trumpets if that were the case. He's criticized for his words and actions. To be honest he isn't criticized enough. Imagine Obama or any other politician saying and doing the things he did? They definitely wouldn't be president. Hell Obama needed to damn near be a choir boy.

Trump has mastered the art of distraction. He has learned that the best way to distract attention from his personal attacks is to issue more personal attacks. That's an old ghetto trick.

No doubt.
